Weekly Update May 12th 2025

Once again I had some fun making memes and dumb pics on the discord streams. I also streamed making a bunch of animations for the next release. I’m going to be opening up the fun streams to the Adventure tier as well. I plan to continue expanding it to the lower tiers too as time goes on.

Weekly Update May 5th 2025

Unlike last week, this week was very productive (Damn you Oblivion). I’ve made great headway on the art for the first half of CH8 and I made a few more memes during the Hero Streams on discord. Those are attached to the post. I’ll be uploading some teasers in a separate post shortly.

Weekly Update April 28th 2025

I’ve been quite busy the past few days…The oblivion gates opened suddenly and someone had to close them. It really reminded me that I don’t play many games these days because of how much time I spend here. Not complaining, just reflecting.

Weekly Update April 20th 2025

Alright, to start I figured I’d show off a little bit of what I’ve been making for Luna. Attached are a couple of the early maps. The map with the red roofs is the first town that Luna and Co will use as a quest/town scene hub. Just to the north of that is the local guild (the map with the jail and the big wooden building). The last one is part of the games intro.

Weekly Update April 14th

This week I’ve spent a lot of time in engine making maps for both Luna and Aki. It’s one of those things that I forget how time consuming it is to do, but I really enjoy making them. Because what I’m making for the first half of CH8 is a baby version of Luna’s town mechanic, it's important that I test this a lot.

First Weekly Update!

CH7 Release Date

I’m going to do some playtesting over the next couple days and have CH7 uploaded on March 27/28.

Alright, I’m wrapping this thing up now. Once I missed the second release window I kinda just said “Fuck it” and started adding all the animations and extra images that I was going to cut to get it out fast enough. So I just shut up and got to work.

CH7 Progress update!

As of writing this I'm finishing up the art, but I still have to program everything. I'm unsure if I'll be able to do all of that by the 12th. It shouldn't be more than a few days at most.

There are a few animations that I want to render alternate angles of too, which just takes a lot of time. The attached scene has a silly number of animations by itself. I figure you all would prefer a better product rather than a faster one so I'm going to make sure it is good for you.

Thank you all for your patience. There were a few hiccups along the way.  As I was wrapping up for the release the engine crashed and corrupted some files. As a result I had to remake some of the work. Thankfully I was able to salvage some from a backup I made.

New Tiers/Changes

Alright, I’ve had enough people ask for higher tiers that I’ve decided to go ahead and make the change. While I’m at it I figured I’d make some changes to existing tiers because the way I am currently doing things is a little silly.

Before Reading: If you are currently subscribed you will not lose access to anything. You will be receiving the same benefits.

The Holdcraft Resort: Aki (minor rename) will have the next update 6.5 coming out in the next couple weeks, following that I plan to have roughly 4 more major story updates (Ch7, 8, 9, 10) plus a couple of .5 updates in there with some epilogue content after chapter 10. This will lead me into transitioning into the new game!
