(CM1-1) Environment progress

A few last days I was out of energy and motivation to do something. Finally got some energy to work on something. There were a few options, and I picked to work on CM1. I want to do some environmental art stuff and it's a perfect place to do it.

Happy new year!

I'm not good at writing New Year greetings but I'll try.

This year was... let's say difficult (looking at CA7 struggles) and not as productive as I wanted to be. 2024 should be the year where I'll create a lot of great work. A lot better year.

But first of all, I thank all my subscribers on all platforms and my Patrons. Thanks for supporting me this whole year despite a huge lack of content and WIP posts.  You're the best!

(A11-4) 2nd Part progress

The transition between 2 loop animations looks decent, I'm glad how it ended. As you can see, there is little work left to do, just add more fluids and it will be finished. Can't surely say how long it will take (as you can see, I screwed up with the "deadline" once again), but let's say 4-6 days.

(A11-3) Main part finished

I'm pleased with how it looks. At this point, I would like to upload it, but I think it needs a proper end. It will take time, but it will be worth it. As you can see, I added plenty of movements to the scene, almost all scene is animated. And who would think, I've added a sound to it! I underestimated how sounds can enhance animation. I'm glad about how it sounds. I'll fix the audio sync before the next WIP.

(A11-1) "Basic" Animation

Remember I mentioned that I have one animation almost ready? Here is it. It was made very quickly and to my surprise, the lighting looks astonishing despite it being made REALLY quickly and lazy.

(CA7-31) Main loop - finished

Phew.... The full animation is almost ready. Sadly this loop has some problems (not looking at artifacts), but I'm too tired to fix them and I've already spent too much time on it.

I don't know how to fix artifacts on "main" tentacle, so I'll probably just change it material again. Ending is not the best but I didn't come up with something better. Btw, it's better than just black screen.

Forbidden magic WIP Timelapse

So, as you can see here I was experimenting with tentacles and fur on Hoodwink. I'm pleased with how tentacles look but fur on hoodwink requires more posters (or animations) to see how it looks in different environments. If it looks great in other posters, I'll probably use it more often.

(CA7-29) Loop

Okay, after creating a short animation (which probably will not be uploaded) I remembered how to make more or less good animation. This loop is not final as it lacks secondary animation (dicktackle moving, more Hoodwink moves, a bit of physics)

For now, I'm pleased with what I've got, now I should add a bit of variation to it. Sadly, the "main" part of the animation will be a lot shorter than the "intro" part. I don't know how I can extend this to 3+ minutes.

(CA7-28) Scrapped loops

I'll start from bad news - I forgot how to animate loops. Like, totally.

CA7-27 (Previous WIP) Loops also scraped. Why I scraped them? I saw original loop I've made for this animation, it's a lot better than I can do right now.

I need to take some time, I'll return with next loop iteration. Hope it will be close to original loop in terms of quality. Right now, I can't say anything more. Sorry.

(CA7-27) First 3 loops and a bit of animation

it took a bit longer than expected. For now we have 3 loops and 1 chunk of animation which will go into secondary loop for other loops. As expected, I have major issues with connecting loops with each other.
