Every now and then I get some AI Generated pictures shared in my DMs from a guy I know. Mostly Mass Effect themed pics and quarians.
And you know what's the worst thing about this? That freakin' ai can come up with some interesting design concepts that turns on my artistic side of me.
Some suit designs look so good, I just wanna draw them. And that's basically how this sketch was born. (and it's not "stealing" when it's based on something that's a collective stealing mixture, right?....

A few days ago I was working on a little SpiderGwen emoji that I wanted to use on my discord server. Here's the wip gif I've managed to put together from the screenshots I took while working on this drawing. According to the screenshots, when I switched over to colouring, I've spent an additional +4 hours on this before I called it finished. At first the character was facing in the opposite direction, then I found it better looking when I turned her over. This happened while I was working on her hair, the shapes just looked better this way.

The model in the Steam SFM Workshop has like ~21 skin variations, damn.
This was a big help with my sketch, I didn't have to over-think how the character would look like in such twisted, upside-down pose with her suit design and all.
