96 - random gwenom again - wipgif

It has it's flaws, but I wasn't aiming to fix everything on it or to be spot-on.

I tried to do something with the tongue, it was a bit difficult to make it look playful on the pic. Also was trying to make it as some sort of censore if you couldn't tell (a). Either that or the tongue is attached onto the viewer.

I got a request for another Gwenom by Malk, so this is the results of that.

I've made a little update regarding my SpiderGwen gear: I got a (net) wig cap.

So now I can close my mask behind. xd
Before my purchase, I was holding my hair back with a big hair clip, and my mask was mostly opened behind.

I tried it out after I got home, and wearing it is more difficult then without it. Now my face and head are getting crushed with more force. xd

I wanted to be done with this by June tbh. So I'm pushing myself forward now, aiming to finish it this week so I can focus on other things.

While working on the design I was checking out google images to check-up on the details.
This picture caught my attention mostly (and the very first concept design, of course). I took the idea of having some holes in the front of the hood from this same picture btw, and tried to make a collar piece in the front, based on this drawing too.
Altho it's still a bit unclear for me how her lil jacket is connects correctly in the front, so I made that part up (or maybe I was right, idk).

97 - wip 2

Here's a lil update of this project.

While it still needs some corrections here and there, I began to work on the basic colours.
At the begining I wasn't satisfied how Venom looked overall, after some fixes I think I've started to like it and maybe I don't wanna hide him behind some shadows that much anymore.

I suppose to work on the background's buildings and windows too as some random light sources. idk how I'll do that part yet without too much work xd

I used the Binary brush for the lineart on this.
That was the mostly used brush, then I used my usual cloud-like brush for the shading and transparent parts. Also the Blur brush to smooth out some colours.
