I recently finally learned how to threshold my line art (making the lines pure black and the white very white, so it's easier to delete the background from the line art) so now I can color the lines! (see panel 2).
That's the days I managed to draw! I hope you enjoyed a tiny insight of what I do when I'm not drawing MGDM (and are on a vacation).

I went too close to the swallow's to try take a good picture so they ended up scattering and hiding in nearby bushes. Well, the parents didn't see that so when they came to feed them they made this horrible surprised noise while flying straight upwards. Where was the babies? I felt so bad.

The tiny pond has always been one of my favorites to visit when going to Øland. It isn't even a real attraction, just this little body of water next to one of the small main roads across the island.
First year I was there someone had dumped 2 small goldfish in it. It was very pretty. The next visit the pond was all dried out so it was good seeing it doing well again!

A very long (but good!) day.
There was no mailbox to put cash for the metal cat so we ended up putting it on a table under a stone by the nearest house (behind it, in a yard). We hoped it was the right place.
Better than leaving them out by the road where people could steal it more easily!

I never got around to draw that kettle...
Well, we had to put a heavy lid on top so the bottom would lean into the electricity botton underneath (on the stand). It was loose and when the kettle started to boil it would kinda jump off a tiny bit, enough to disconnect it from the stand. So it wouldn't boil. My mom informed the owners of the Airbnb but we never got a new one.
I kinda enjoyed having to boil water in a pot instead. Was cozy enough.

I have come to love drawing the folds on this bed. They all just go perfectly into the middle (mostly). Best leading eye using the background detail ever.
