I'm in the beginning stages of writing the script... well, I've outlined the whole script, have all the research done, now I just have to write it. I'm planning some whacky stuff for the new video so be prepared. It's on Hannah Montana and how we live in a society, etc. I expect an upload in late Feb or early March...

Updates and ruminations

Hi. So I've been enjoying some time "off" with my family which is to say passively reading books over the course of the holidays and watching 3 seasons of Hannah Montana. The chance that the next video will be about Hannah Montana is almost certain. But as always... Will it REALLY be about Hannah Montana? Or is it about subjectivity in late capitalism? I DONT KNOW!!!! I wish I could turn the lens off.

Here's the first draft of the first 20 (more like 15) minutes of the Taylor Swift video, just for YOU! The first 20 minutes frontload a bit of the more theoretical stuff, but there's a lot more Taylore stuff later in the video. It's looking like the video will end up being 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Behind some scenes…

Just finished filming the T. Swift video. I was just chatting with friend of the channel, Rowan Ellis, about how scared I should be of swifties LMAO.

This video was really hard to film… I mean it was just one set but I randomly got this bad cold and so I was so tired and my voice was destroyed…. But I couldn’t put it off because this was my only opportunity to film ;-;

It was also the LONGEST video I’ve ever shot. I think the total footage is like 6-8 hours 0-0… for refe...

How was it?

Did you like the video? Things that resonated? Things I missed? I know there's a lot I didn't cover... but even with a 1 hour long video essay you can't go over all of the diverse experience people have with gender. It's a little scary putting out a product you know is inherently flawed but I guess all art and creations have flaws that make them unique...

When writing the script, I mostly had an already progressive feminist audience in mind, though I did expect the title to get some mor...
