Waiting for the final Audio, rest is done from my side. Once we have the Audio I can give the file to the Music/Sound Guy who will make the final edit. And then we can give it to the Trailer-Guy who will create the trailer. And I still hope we can have the release early December.

Let's start with the Poll result. A majority voted for a continuation of the Episodes while at the same time being ok with things taking longer.
I will definitely make a proof-of-concept Visual Novel for you to enjoy. The idea is also to not have super-short loops, but rather 3-5min, and possibly multiple loops.

I have seen a lot of really outstanding work recently on Twitter from other 3dx artists and they seem to be very successful. This makes sense, because they produce much shorter, less complex animations but therefore the quality is really impressive.

Next I will fix&polish the animations and then replace the temp-set with the final one. And I will give it to my Audio guy to get Music & SoundFX done asap as well.

I am currently assembling all the animations and cameras in Unreal in a temporary Set. You can see that it´s super basic for now, but we will later replace everything with final assets, do proper lighting, etc.
But I think it´s good that you see what it looks now and can then compare it to the final product. And you see that for now it looks shit and the final magic will happen later...

today just a very quick update. I was working a lot on the house but also managed to get all the retargeting from the mocap Skeleton to the Mocap-Base characters done. Not a lot to see, but I thought sharing a little something is definitely nice to look at 😊
Next steps are transferring the animation to Trinity & Alexandra and tweaking it so the actually match up.

I got a big surprise from Marie this week: she did find the time to record the Temp-audio for Episode 9! That is such a relief! So now I can start planing the Mocap-Sessions with professional audio. That will not only make it less awkward for the Voice-Artists, but also easier because they have better reference than my voice. I am very happy about that.

I was at the doctor on a weekly basis and last week Friday everything looked great and that she would take the turn, but then she very quickly was getting weaker.
