Jesse's career was actually semi-figured out back when he was first brought up 3 years ago. I knew I wanted him to be an adventurer of some sort, hence why he could be gone from the comic for long periods of times and then suddenly pop up from time to time. Originally his returned would've coincided with a different story, but with Miranda being introduced to the comic that story line had to be nixed, so he's popping in now as opposed to never.

So I didn't win the 4chan virtual youtuber design contest. The winning design was one that I honestly expected to win as it was probably one of the better drawings. I wasn't a fan of the artist's other submission (loli bear) though. That was a bit too skeevy for me.

Voting for the 4chan youtuber design contest just ended. I don't see myself winning, but it was still neat to make it into the top 20 finalists. In the QA thread I drew up a couple responses to posts with my design. They're attached to this post in case you want to check them out so I don't have to make multiple other posts for them.
Speaking of contests, I also entered for a chance to go to Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank California for a chance to be taught how to storyboard for 3 months....

Taking a day off from the comic this update. I've been feeling kind of shitty these past few days, mixed with mental exhaustion and a lack of energy. I wanna rest a few days with a normal sleeping schedule with a proper amount of sleep (my typical sleeping schedule is climb into bed at 6 pm and wake up at 10 pm, get up and work on comic/misc. projects/whatever, then climb back in around 5 am and get up at 8 am for work). The seasons changing and constant rain hasn't helped much with all this eit...
