Yesterday I went to my parents house where I did a combination of changing the temperature gauge in my car with my dad, along with celebrate my dad's and my sister's birthdays. They're relatively close, so easier to do them together, which is something I do with my brother as well.

Found a Daiso near me yesterday, so I wound up buying like $58 worth of junk food. Excessive, I know. I only ever go to Daiso like once or twice a year, so when I do I buy a bunch and consume it all within 3-4 days because I'm a pig. Most of the stuff I get is wasabi flavored chips as I love the spiciness. Sometimes I get candy too, but decided not to this time around. Usually when I do I get those chocolate covered gummies. Pipe Burst Update: Shelves Edition

I had a productive day in regards to getting things back in order. Maintenance patched the hole where the pipe burst and painted the walls yesterday/the day before. Today I went and started putting things back in the bathroom, such as my clothes and storage containers, as the bathroom also acts as a large walk in closet.

I also went about buying new shelves to replace the ones that were water damaged. I seriously lucked out as Walmart had those 6 cube shelves down to like $17 on clearan...

Pipe Break Update

Most things are settled now. Did the insurance dance and all that jazz, and I went and bought a new computer to replace the old one. Currently in the middle of moving things over and breaking in the new keyboard/mouse.

Thankfully this has been pretty painless in terms of computer stuff, so I feel I should be able to start working again next week... which will be the final page before I take a two week break from the comic. God damn, this has been a massive shit fest.

Beat Eastward last night. It's been my go to game to play for like an hour before bed over the past few weeks, and now I've completed it!

Boy! That game is a bit of a mess!

I love the art design and the music is top notch, and I enjoyed the zelda-esque dungeon exploring and puzzles and such. But that story left a lot to be desired. I think I have made progress with getting the stray cat who comes by apartment every night to use the cat litter. I tried last year when there was that winter storm, but she wouldn't use it. Even when she gave birth to kittens and her kittens were using it, she'd still go out and poop underneath the stairs to other apartments.
