Sentai Filmworks was bought out by AMC Networks. That news came out of left field, especially AMC Networks of all people. They weren't the first to come to mind when it came to purchasing anime licensors. But considering they also have a couple other niche streaming services, like Shudder, I like to believe they'll be in good hands.

Finally had some cold weather come through Texas. The cats that were pretty friendly haven't stopped by for food recently, which adds to my suspicion that maybe they belonged to someone in the apartment complex. Two other strays who want nothing to do with me other than food are still out and about, though.

Started recently feeding these stray cats that live around the apartment complex. I've posted it on the discord server, but one of them has started coming inside and chills on my couch after eating for a bit before bouncing. It's the closest I'm going to have to cat ownership until the day I somehow magically own my own place.

Making the mistake of checking my weight during the holidays. Gained like 7 pounds over the course of two months. It's the holidays so it's not too suprising, as it happens every year since my weightloss back in 2018, but it always stings to look at. Only time I managed to ever control myself this time of year was back in 2017 when I first started taking weight loss seriously as a test. "If I can survive the holidays I can do it." I've never been as strict as I have back then.
