While my hair isn't as long as my avatar's, it is pretty long. Also gives me an excuse to bring back the pigtails. I always thought they were cute.
This concludes the between chapter break. Script's pretty much finished, so I just need to make the storyboards. Which, as you all know, I shall procrastinate on and only finish a chunk of pages before stopping, catching up, and then freaking out because it's comic day and I've yet to get more storyboards done.

MZone - Itch
Spent the afternoon celebrating my mom's birthday with the rest of the family. It was nice. Haven't been able to see her too much in person in the past year due to covid and her being high risk due to cancer (I'm not going further into this), but she's gotten her vaccination and rest of the family are either halfway there or got both shots. Even so we still acted with caution and celebrated outside.
I've been continuing to get on the treadmill, along with going on about a two mile walk ...

MZone - Earwig and the Witch Not Good
Earwig and the Witch is not good.
I already knew going into it that I probably wasn't going to like it, as Goro Miyazaki is pretty mediocre as a director. Add on top of that 3D CG animation that feels about a decade and change old with character models that look like plastic toys, I made sure to keep my expectations low.
And for the most part, I was nonchalant about it. My low expectations were met.

Another reason I didn't feel like doing pinups is because of the other recent drawings I've been doing. I wanted to do something more fun/silly. So here we are!

This started out as a sketch that I wanted to do some line weight practice on, and then I threw on a solid color base so it'd pop out more. Then I did a little shading fuckery, which led to this. I think it came out pretty neat. I mean, I'm colorblind now because of it, but hey!
