Weathering With You has a US theatrical release date: January 17.
As a fan of Makoto Shinkai, I'm really fucking pumped. I've been listening to the soundtrack with little to no context as to what scenes they're used in. It's gonna be nice seeing Shinkai telling the same kind of story for the... (checks notes) 7th time. But hey, that's sorta what you expect going into his films.

So, shortly after drawing Elaine as Deku, I realized that that hairstyle is a total bitch to draw and I don't like it. Even now it's been a pain in the ass to get it to look right on Elaine, and no matter how many times I do it I always hate it.

Remember a year ago when 4chan had a contest for a virtual youtuber design, then it ended, and then nothing came of it? Don't worry, neither does anyone else.
Spent about an hour trying and failing to do a completely different drawing, but wound up drawing her instead after giving up and remembering it's been about a year since the contest.
It's neat seeing her side by side to her 2018 counterpart.

Last night I finally got around to writing the suiting up sequence for Cafe 2. I've been procrastinating on it as I do most of my writing at work, and of course I'm not gonna write lewd shit while at work. But then I get home and unless I feel inspired or something, I don't do jack shit. However! Yesterday I managed to sit myself down and spent over an hour writing up a really nice of bodysuit putting on action!
But then open office crashed and I lost it all.
