Last year my patreon was paused for the month of October, but this month, maybe we should try to do Kinktober? This could be great practice for contour drawings and just doing straight ink rather than under-sketches, as well as help for line art! Contour practice

This was drawn with no underlying sketch, it was just a contour drawing. It was done from looking a sketch though, which definitely helps with placement. But this type of drawing might be what I do in the future for nearly everything. Not having underlying construction and sketching means that my "sketch" IS my lineart. And trying to draw over my sketch to get clean lineart is my least favorite part of drawing, and a very difficult thing for me to get right. They all tend to look lifeless and...

Life hits hard

So I thought I would give you all an update. Unfortunately, the siding on my house has degraded to such a degree, that I am now inviting water damage. Pretty awesome... So I have to get my siding replaced, which turns out to be a laughably ridiculous amount. Character design and backgrounds!

Wanted to practice designing characters a bit, as well as using backgrounds to complement a design! Decided to design a vampire, since I was talking about them with one of my friends haha. Overall, I really like the design, and the background turned out much better than i was originally expecting it to, especially since I almost always try to avoid environments xD

A bit of style study/face practice

When working on faces, I decided to draw off of some varied styles to get more diversity.
