Volert design revisions (wagon thieves)

Been trying to make his design simple but still stand out and look a little intimidating. Planning on having him voiced by Gianna Matragrano. He’ll be a antagonist that pops up here and there. Also uhhhh he totally doesn’t slowly transform into something, that’s just silly

Ref updates, and poster concepts (Wagon Thieves)

Tweaked Keeshee’s ref a bit so her colors aren’t all over the place, and brightened up some of the other characters colors so Keeshee wasn’t the only one sticking out. though some of them are probably still subject to change.
I wanna try making a poster early but I’m having trouble figuring out what I want it to be, so the concepts there might not be used.

Was gonna put Keeshee and Vranda in this fit, but to make it more relevant, putting bowser and Mario in it seemed more suiting. Especially since Jack black is killing it with bowser and Chris Pratt is uhhhhh just Chris Pratt (Mario)

Again I don’t own splatoon but I just liked the concept of making new characters based on different sea life. Like with a grouper fish, a Goldtail moray eel, and a crinoid.

very obscure wild life, but was still fun to draw out. Thinking they’d either make their own stuff or make remixes based on other peoples work.

Finally getting around to changing some palettes for characters.

Decided Keeshee’s clothing needed changing, she was to bright around everyone else, and tried upping Clive’s colors (other snake) to make him a bit like Keeshee, while keeping his darker aesthetic. Color may change again for some of them, who knows. (Still currently working on the script)
