Dad Intermission - Comics

Okay, so bit of a big reveal to those of you new to the Patreon. But I just finally got this exported after at least a year!

This is the main intermission for the April Fools video starring my Dad. This was a very complicated sequence, as I scanned in most of these comics and also managed to get several big cameos for voice-overs. This video will be one of my proudest accomplishments, if I can just manage to finish it!

Things I Forgot: Missing Spots

Sam & Cat 2 (FIRST 9 HOURS)

Here it is, we've reached nine total hours in run time.

As per usual, looking for positive energy. You may notice this upload ends in the same play - the extra time comes from the new "Things I Forgot" intermission. You can find this around 1:05:00.

We're getting closer and closer to the end of all this. But it feels like the more I run, the more the goal post moves with me. I'm expecting the video will likely be longer than 12 hours by the end.

Quinton Re2s - Rant video

So this is a rant video I've had in my head for a while. I decided to write it out tonight because I have a free minute. I might record it later this week, but I wanted feedback on it. It's something I find quite frustrating because even experts in this hobby treat me like an ass when I use the right terms lol. Basically my goal is to find one other person on Earth who relates to this as a pet peeve.

Thinking about merchandise

Live Intermission: Final edit

So this is the "final edit" of the live intermission. Or that is, it's nearly the final edit. I might go back and re-do all of the audio and make some minor tweaks. BUT this is about as short as I want the segment to be (I've basically shaved off about 5 minutes from the first edit) and I've added the captions!

Hoping for some positive feedback! I'm working up the energy to try and get as much of the video done this weekend as I can. Right now the full video is about 8 hours, 38 minutes...

UBCon, second edit

This is nearly 7 minutes of my second draft of the UBCon shoot. I have someone who's cleaning up the audio, so for now I added some graphics and captions. I'm not done with the entire segment yet, but I wanted to see if those of you who are aggressively against the segment think this approves it.

Random segment in Dad's video, 7 hours

So in preparation for (someday?) getting Dad's video done, I've been exporting the few chunks which are now 100% done. I have a program that lets me combine videos, and the idea is I export the video as I can, then put all the parts together. Since it takes so many hours to export even a small portion, it's important to export what I can now.

If you've seen bits of this video, and noticed the "camcorder text", this is an edit that should be 100% done, if only for these seven hours.

April ? video preview

So here's a little preview of where my life is right now.

I'm currently working consecutively on two projects, Sam & Cat Part 2 and the April Fools project, AKA Dad's video. The Sam & Cat video is *explicitly* a direct prequel to the April Fools project, with numerous mentions in the plot of it being April 1, so I have this horrifying deadline looming over me, and ever hour it seems more impossible to match it!

But all that is left in Dad's video is all of the Intermission...

It's looking like this will reach 8-9 hours without trying. It's my goal to get this out before April 1, or on the morning of April 1. I may kill myself trying, but it's just something I want more than anything else in the world.

Feeling a lot better these days, and I've just barely regained my voice, so this week I'm trying to make up for lost time.

My goal remains to have this video out by the end of March, with Dad's (first) video then coming out April 1. There's still a lot of work to get done on both videos, but I'm praying I'll have just enough time to make the dream come true.

Having a bad time

Several days ago, one of my close friends from high school got married. It was a family-only event, but afterward, he invited pretty much all his friends to a bar for a little congratulations thing.

The bar he chose for this is, in my opinion, one of the worst bars in town. It's a hallway someone turned into a bar, and it always has like 10x as many people inside as any fire marshal would recommend.
