I like this shot a lot. Not only is it in color, which is very hard to make accurate with these blue-toned projectors, but I love the way the circle engulfed her. Plus her dead-eye stare makes it seem like an interrogation, one she intends to come out victorious from.

High Fidelity, Pt. 13
This is one of my favorites from our quick half-hour test shoot session. It felt primal, very Native American, for better or worse.
The projected image is actually someone's finger tips dipped in black ink, with the knuckle starting at her mouth andone of the tips ending on her chest. Can you see it?

At one point she made this move to brush the hair off her shoulders, and I liked it so much I asked her to hold it there. I'm not sure if it works. What do you think? How would you have posed her differently?

I don't recall what this image was, but in black and white I loved the contrast and painterly quality about it. It looked like a sumi ink painting. And I love the hand that just happened to land on her should in an almost comforting manner.

This was a horizontal image with fire, but I found the pastel tones worked best when covering her full torso. She had never posed topless for anyone before, but within just a few moments she said she trusted me 100%.

The more I talked with her, the more I realized how much of a party-girl Sara is. A native of Ireland, she moved to the central coast only recently, and still likes the taste of whiskey and men who are no good for her.

I loved cutting her off with the colors here, but the weight of my lens was shaky, and you could see the image shaking on her as I shot. She only teased me about it a few times.

By accident, the images I loaded onto the digital projector were not my own, but I decided to just roll with it. This shoot was technically quite difficult. I had the complications of holding a mini-projector in one hand, managing a camera with a long 200mm lens and shooting with it in another, and trying to chat with new model Sara for the first time. Still, i think this was a somewhat successful experiment!

She finally decided to strip all the way down, exposing her large leg tattoos. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of tattoos, but when the rest of the model is as great as Reed is, I try to make exceptions.
