With the firs lowly dying down finally since I had run out of cardboard and lighter fluid, I told her to just move around as I clicked away from across the fire. Even just standing around, she made the moment seem extraordinary.

The glowy details of her faced lit up by the reflector here is pretty damn nice, if I do say so myself.

Once again, for the photographers in my audience, this was taken with a reflector, only reflecting back the light of the fire on the model. Pretty craxy, huh? It had enver occured to me to do this until this very moment. To be fair, I'm a bit slow.

Once she had cooled down a bit, I began using my reflector to bounce the light of the fire onto her. It was the first time I had ever tried this technique, and though it was trickier than normally using a reflector, when it worked, it worked very well.

This shot was taken the exact moment the fire became too much for her, and she hopped away saying "Oooookay, taking a break!"

Skyler is just naturall very sensual, and I think the primal nature of the situation brought out the best in her. She easily was enjoying herself and making the most of the moment.

The brighter the fire became, especially since I kept shooting lighter fluid on it, the more wonderful light it provided. Soon Skyler was easily lit well, despite how dark the evening had become. You can see the ash flying around her here.

Here you can see my flash and cheap reflector on the ground behind her. I could have taken them out in Photoshop, but I thought you might enjoy seeing a few small behind-the-scenes details like that. Everything I do is fairly low budget, and I'm famous for putting equipment on the ground while I continue shooting.

This is one of my favorite shots, there is so much texture and pattern going on, and I just love the colors. It all just really works, in my humble opinion.

I love her attitude here, which is genuine. Her personality can be sweet and sincere, yet also strong and dominant. The stories she's told me about the way she treats the men she dates were both intimdating and titillating, and I try not to think about them too much.

Though the fire was raging at this point, she seemed to handle it quite well, only complaining when she got to close, jumping out of the way. "I'm keeping my Chucks on!" she exclaimed, as if they would help her run away from the fire faster.

She's such a natural model, completely ignoring the camera and going into her own little zone, yet always also aware of where the camera is in relation to herself.

It was getting dark fast, and I was trying my best to capture what light I could, but there were still several images that were underexposed. Though I hate trying to force an image, I thought it would be worth processing one or two for the sake of variety.

She loved the bikini I had let her wear on the bed so much that she decided to wear it out on the drive, only slipping her short denim cutoffs over it. While driving out to the location, I saw someone on the road I know, and they of course did a double-take of Skyler in my passenger seat wearing next to nothing. Of course, the bikini top being flesh-colored didn't help.
