lil' update

The holiday season has kinda hampered my time to work on stuff, so these weeks have been a little light on content, but I have things coming down the pipeline. 

There'll be a Christmas themed post next week, and I expect to have the next part of Accolade for you guys on New Years.

Computer Issues Resolved

I’ve solved my rendering problem! I’ve increased my RAM capacity and from the looks of it that’s got me back up and running and capable of rendering again.

It definitely looks like a lack of memory was my issue with trying to render out these larger scenes. I was running 16gb before, now I’m working with 64gb. I decided to run a test again on the renders that were freezing up my computer before at 16gb, and with 64gb some of the renders were capping at about 68% memory usage. So...

2nd Chance Saloon Suggestion Box

Something I've been wanting to do for a while is to give a second opportunity to some of the previous suggestions that didn't quite win out in previous polls.

This suggestion box will be a little different. Instead of new ideas, I went back to past polls, picking a few of the more popular runners-up, giving a chance for a bridesmaid to become a bride.

Computer Issues

Bad news:

The other night, my computer suddenly and without warning began freezing up completely during renders. Things were running fine and then… nope. 

My best and only guess is that it’s an issue with my RAM. When I ran a test render on a scene, my computer’s memory peaked at or above 99% at the point where it freezes up, so that seems to support that theory. Lately, I have been trying to render bigger and more complex scenes, and the section of Accolade that I was ...

I was in a thick girl mood this week, and wanted to make a scene of a girl's voluptuousness cozied up to her S.O. in a casual setting. So, when I thought of candidates for the scene, first to mind was a return of Cha-Chas' best girl Trisha.

Doctor Kim is an accomplished plastic surgeon who runs his own practice. He's highly experienced and well-skilled, being highly recommended by past patients. Good mannered and a responsible professional, but not above a cheeky joke from time-to-time.

After the last suggested sequence ballooned into a much longer series, and as fun as that was, I really want to keep this one nice and short. Keep that in mind when making your suggestions.
