new look in rpgmaker
Made it through enough RPG Maker MV tutorials to embiggen the player sprite!
Roughing out some areas using built-in tilesets to get an idea of what kinda scale I should draw things at for 2-tile tall character sprites, and saw the mirror and thought I'd have a go at it! Just figuring this out made a whole lot of stuff possible I was imagining for the demo, love how easy it is to work with!

in an effort to make prototyping less intimidating, i've been sketching out whatever's in my mind's eye about each basic area. the floorplan, the orientation on the screen, some decorations, etc. came up with a hotel front desk clerk on the fly on stream this morning and immediately fell in love with her.
