I walked up to Junior’s club, something that had become almost a habit at this point. Honestly, I think I spent more time here than any other building since arriving in this world.

I was about to go towards the doors, but a large man standing to the side stepped infront of me. I blinked for a moment before looking up at him. “Excuse me?”

He didn’t respond, crossing his arms, clearly set on preventing me from going inside.

“Um….Roman is expecting me?” I offered....

Chapter 95

I woke up with a yawn, the sun just barely peeking in through the curtains. I felt my arm pop as I stretched my arms. With a thought, I brought down all the bounded fields I set around my room out of habit.

I rented just a random hotel room for a few days, it wasn’t particularly difficult to find somewhere and my new information came in handy.

Apparently, hotels and the like have to verify residence status or the equivalent for visitors….which I didn’t have before last night...

I need to do another look through later, beef some parts up in the conversation and what-not, just really tired today. But things will start to pick up, like how Qrow, who possessed the tiniest spark of magic noticed the magical metal that MC gave Ruby. Mc going to investigate Aura, Dust, Grimm ect.

Chapter 86 RWBY

Next Arc is a go. The timeline is about 9 months before the start of canon, give or take depending on how I want to progress. This is the chapter from yesterday that i missed due to not feeling well when i got off from work. Otherwise, i'm not going to write this weekend....probably. 

Anyways, I did set up a Discord, literally just the barebones basics if anyone wants to come chat or anything. I'll probably just be hanging out and playing Genshin Impact for the entire weekend.

So first DxD arc is finished, the next time we come back to DxD beyond just popping in for a chapter or so, there will be more things going on and it won't be just a 'vacation'. Mc grabbed Gram, but it's being a bit obstinate and won't let him wield it, the other swords were just kinda meh.  Mostly cleaning up the end of the arc and setting up plot points for the future. The plan is, next chapter is an interlude then on to RWBY.

The last hurrah for this arc, finishing up loose ends, I.e. the hero faction. Next chapter should be the 'end' but after that i'll do one last interlude then on to RWBY. 

So, MC has kind of taken to being a father, kind of sorta. A mix of his own personal hangups regarding his father, and his own desires for children in the future. Not to mention his habit of getting attached to people rather quickly. Basically the perfect storm that lead to 'you're my daughter now'.

Another awkward silence filled the room.

I’m sure the others could feel the tension in the air.

And a lot of things I thought I didn’t have to deal with came bursting back up to the surface. Feelings I thought I had gotten over, repressed, or merely outgrew.

I hummed lightly as I walked towards the estate that Yasaka lived. Her daughter still grabbing onto my tightly, refusing to budge.
