Hi all! Sorry for the lack of any posting this past week. It's been a whirlwind of back-to-school adjustments, transportation issues, and a whole lot of hammering above my head as roofers unintentionally tried their best to deter me from finishing up linework for my next Spider-Man book. Happy Friday! Gosh, this has ended up being one of the most hectic (and slightly stressful) work weeks for me, but I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that all of your Batgirl/Supergirl mini prints were shipped out earlier today. Yay!
They turned out great. I used a slightly heavier stock this time around, so they feel like a higher quality print than in the past. And the spot gloss looks sharp as well.

Was actually able to get out to see the new Fantastic Four over the weekend. I liked it! Although I do feel like I kinda need to see it again to make a fair assessment. It moved along at such a quick and choppy pace, I felt like it was over before I was really able to connect with anything. I also wanted to see the family (besides Ben) getting out of their tower and venturing around NYC a tiny bit more. But all around, solid FF film. Great casting. Finished up drawing Hawkgirl this morning. I've never drawn her before so she felt like the most fun of all the new Superman movie characters to tackle. I prefer her comic outfit and colors more than her neutral, jacketed movie suit though, so ended up with my own slight variation on that. Tried to keep with her general vibe though.

Like a lot of folks over the weekend, I managed to escape the studio for a few hours and go see the new Superman film. Thought it was a ton of fun! I was pretty much smiling, laughing and cheering most of my way through it. The other day my wife was wearing a cute summer jumper I had never seen before.
