Over the last month:
-finished the biggest commission I've ever done for barnaby's 40th birthday. I've been drawing people in lamby costumes for 3 months. its very sentimental and I like it a lot.

Good morning everyone! Who's ready for a charmed beginning to spring <3
February took a surprise turn in a great direction!
Over the last month:
-did as many of those secret commissions as I could. now 70% complete.
-absolutely in love with how this months patron prompt turned out
-finished an adorable valentines day commission
-tried a lot of new things with my rendering style and learned to make portraits for future commissions.
The interest in FST wasn't as strong as I was hoping for, that said I very much what to finish the story I had in mind in some form.
I've learned a lot from the pilot chapter;
-Having two sex scenes, while good for the purpose of a pilot, isn't good for the reader. It divides the audience and makes it so that the only people able to enjoy the chapter as a whole are those that specifically enjoy both scenarios.
-my pages are too cluttered. trying to squee...
Ronnies character of "Tanuki Dad" is intended to be as generic as possible so his audience can self insert themselves into the narrative. it was a fun challenge to design a character that keeps so many open directions to them. and of course it just felt right to include myself as the audience self insert. as indulgent as it might be

Okay I was impressed last month but this month we have TWENTY new patrons! 🎉Thank you all so much and I'm so happy to finally release FST to such positive feedback!
That said, the tunnel vision I've had on my comic means the only income for this month has been from Patreon (and commissions that I'm yet to do the work for. yikes.) thanks for the support guys. It's really saved my ass.
