Chapter 19.1- All of Infinity in the Palm of my Hands

XXXXX- EBONY MAW

He would have hated to have to be the one to deliver the news to Father. He always hated having to deliver bad news to the one who had done so much for him. It almost felt like disappointing him. He knew that he had no fault for the news that was to be delivered, but he still felt guilty about it. He watched closely as Proxima said the words, and how their Father took in the sentences with a hard look on his face. He did not show his sadness. He was too strong for that....

XXXXXX- TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE ATTACK ON OMASHU

He resisted the urge to curse out loud as he whipped his fingers out and nothing happened. He’d been training at it for almost a month now, and even after writing multiple letters to Maki and getting her take on things, he was still yet to perform even the smallest bit of combustion bending. Maki had said it was impossible. His ancestor insisted that he’d managed it. His ancestor’s explanation was also almost entirely useless, but eve...

She finished her jutsu first. Sasori was not surprised. Noel was skilled, but she weaved seals faster than anyone he’d seen except from Itachi and Kisame. That team of absolute monsters could weave seals so quickly it was like their fingers were blurs even to his eyes. Nii Yugito was only a bit slower than that. Several balls of fire were sent flying at his partner.

Unlike Itachi’s flames, these ones were a bright blue that bathed the hall in an eerie blue glow. His partner’...

Chapter 18- And so the Dragons Danced (Complete)

“Congratulations, Colonel Natsu. I knew you could do it. I never expected anything less” Sung said to be as I walked into his tent after our return and after action report. He said the words, but I could tell they were hollow. He’d expected much less. I was pretty sure that he’d expected me to completely fail and would have turned all of command’s attention to me and my failures instead of any possible investigation into him. It was a good plan, all things considered, and there was ...

At the end of the day, we needed to take two ships. One flagship, the Vanguard, and the other, the troop career for the team of Fifty Kylosians that had expressed desire to come with me and been chosen for their lack of familial attachments and their phenomenal combat scores and tactical awareness. They were the best of the best from AIKO’s graduating class, and that would have to be enough for us. We’d see how that matched up against Kree intelligence and soldiers, however.

XXXXX- KITSUCHI THE EARTH-SHAKER

If someone had warned him that this is what would have happened if he involved Roshi and Han in this fight, then he’d probably have let the Kazekage brat do as he willed and left it that. Because as bad as it could have been, it would never have got this bad if the brat was left alone to his own devices.

The brat fought like a regular ninja. A regular ninja, strong enough that even Kitsuchi knew he had no chance against him. But at the end ...

Chapter 17- And so the Dragons Danced (Complete)

My war cry was matched by dozens of voices behind me as we all fell upon the Mountain’s ambush. It was like a sneak attack to counter an already existing sneak attack. The earth kingdom nationals were caught with their pants down, not literally, thankfully, and were hard-pressed to react to our advance. Toji was the first to make contact as he jumped right out of the saddle of his horse before spinning into a kick that sent one man crashing into the ground, unconscious. The others noticed h...

Chapter 17- All of Infinity in the Palm of my Hands

“Do you remember Project αύξηση?” I asked Kelex once I took my place back on the ship. Tivan was dead, his property, and belongings were mine in their entirety, and the celestial skull that made up knowhere would become mine in due time once I finished figuring out Braniac’s tech completely. It could wait; however, the goal was to study the celestials, and the fruits pf such study were unlikely to show themselves for years, so I could focus on more pressing matters. ‘The waiting...

I smiled right at it, a savage, bloodthirsty smile, as I prepared to do what few had done before me. Defeat a whole fucking tailed beast right in its element. The longer the fight went on, the more of Iwagakure’s landmass was consumed by the lava that the Four-tails spawned with every step of his. The lava spread around us in a circle, melting and consuming everything in its path with little resistance.
“That looks like a bijudama” The Yonbi said, shocking me with its astute analysis...

Chapter 16- And so the Dragons Danced (Complete)

“You’re much more handsome than your father ever was” were the words that General Han greeted me with when I walked into his tent. It reeked heavily of alcohol. So heavily that the smell actually made me crinkle up my nose.

“You definitely inherited his taste then. The man would not abide a whiff of alcohol in his presence” He said with a laugh. I traced his figure with my eyes, seeing him slumped backwards on his chair.

“We knew different men then,” I sa...

If there was one thing the monster did well, it was fight. I thought to myself as I dodged out of the way of another attack, For perhaps the thousandth time, I thanked myself for having the foresight to integrate Zod’s skill and training into myself. If not, this idea of mine would have got me in some serious trouble. I doubted he could hurt me. I really did. But I also didn’t particularly want to test it with my body on the line.

Oh, I knew for sure he couldn’t kill me. No ...

Chapter 43- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

“Well, fuck” I thought to myself as I stared at literally the worst-case scenario right now. The whole entire fucking four tails in its whole entire fucking glory. This was just some bullshit. There was nothing in his files, or history that recorded that a move like this was even possible, and beyond that, even something he'd ever resort to. There were records of fights between Han and Roshi, and Minato from the third war and even when he ran circles around them, never once did they trans...

“You really should stop sulking” the woman said as we made our way to her motorcycle. I could already see the plan for getting out of here. If she had powers like me, then I wouldn’t want to risk it with Ali around. There was no telling what she’d learned from the Matron in my time out of the orphanage. And the fact that she’d been able to trace me both to the alley and the orphanage told me she’d been watching me for a while. So what I was going to do was lead her away. Let her t...

Prologue- Endless

LONDON- UNITED KINGDOM
This was the fifth time she was watching him like this. The young boy with cursed energy in a town with barely a single drop of it. She watched as he walked through the marketplace without anyone any the wiser to his presence. Every few seconds, she’d feel a surge of cursed energy come from him and then nothing else.
The first two times she’d had no idea what he was doing. But now, it was clear top her. Whenever he passed someone well dressed or who looked lik...

Chapter 15- And so the Dragons Danced (Complete)

We set off at dawn, because of course we did. There was nothing more cliche than that. Me, and two hundred men, nearly half the encampment under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Shinsuke. Sung hadn’t been kind enough to allow to pick the entire team of hundred that I would have preferred, but at least I’d been able to ensure that Toji was on the team that would be following me to hunt down the most dangerous element against the Fire Nations military interests in the Earth Kingdom. The Mo...

Sadly, with four days remaining until I had to make the journey to Xander with Carol Danvers, I couldn’t make the journey with my flagship.. it had to stay behind for upgrades. Thankfully, AIKO was more than sufficient to hold down the fort while I went to get back up. I thought to myself and wondered why I hadn’t done this sooner. It was just one of those things that was a no—brainer in hindsight. Kelex was my best friend. I guess it was because part of me was uncomfortable with return...

Chapter 42- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

I felt the wind rush through my air as we free fell down the sky, I resisted the urge to scream in exhilaration as we covered the distance so quickly, there was some sort of joy that came with falling. That breathless feeling from being unable to inhale any meaningful breaths of air. It was something else. When I judged the distance to be close enough, I released a pulse of chakra that activated the seals on the backpacks I’d had them all put on. They beeped twice and then activated. Ropes ...
