Chapter 20- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

‘Lava Release is such bullshit,’ I thought to myself as I jumped over a wooden fence and continued my escape from Kiri’s she-devil. How did I get here? Well, the answer to that question requires a bit of a story. It all started two months ago.

XXXX

I walked into the mission room again, and this time, the desk chunin seemed to have been waiting for me. "Gaara of the Desert, the Kazekage will see you regarding this mission," he said, and I nodded before walking away...

Chapter 1.1- All of Infinity in the palm of my Hands (MCU, Kal-El SI)

Confusion. That was an emotion I'd been forced to get used to from a very young age. I didn't necessarily understand things as quickly as everyone else did, so I'd learned to accept my confusion and move on regardless. This situation was testing my ability to do just that, though.

Sleeping in bed one day and waking up cradled by giants in the shadow of a crumbling planet. For some reason, with my mind racing, I began to understand what was happening, and that made me even more confused ...

Chapter 1.1- And so the Dragons Danced (ATLA Firebender OCSI)

“Un, deux, trois…” I whispered to myself to keep calm, as my dance teachers had taught me. I balanced on the beam as carefully as I could, and then began to run, maintaining a steady face and flipping at the last minute to grab hold of the pole. One, two, three, four. I counted the swings in my mind before finding my angle, letting go, and beginning to corkscrew.

I had done it a thousand times before. Now, I just had to do it for the gold medal. Of course, that's when t...

Update!

Heyyyyyy

So, the Clark Kent SI won the poll. I've got a few ideas and am already working on an outline. If the first part of the first chapter doesn't drop today, expect it the day after tomorrow (tomorrow is Gamer of the Desert day)

While on a walk, I got this really wild idea for a firebender SI in ATLA. Yeahhh, I know it wasn't on the poll, but I'll probably write an outline or something on it before I decide whether to actually write the story or not.

Later, guys. ...

Chapter 19- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

“The Lord will see you now," the serving girl said, guiding me into my Grandfather's study. Like everything else in the castle, it exuded unimaginable luxury. The chairs, the tapestries—everything spoke of high class. Having stayed in the castle for a week, I had become accustomed to it and simply took the seat he gestured me towards, waiting as he collected his thoughts.

"I apologize that this took so long. Hosting the Daimyo is not an easy task," he said, and I nodded, ...

Chapter 66- Oak (Complete)

I stopped feeling as Mewtwo dove headfirst into me and began to pull. My aura, or the thing I had recognized as my aura for so long, was being dragged out of me second by second, and I was helpless against it.

How could I stop him? Mewtwo had just defeated my entire team. He was a powerful psychic, and I was just human. "Are you, though?" some part of me asked. Instead of questioning where the thought came from, I began to wonder if I actually was human. My aura was strange. ...

Chapter 18- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

The good news is that the chunin vest was less oversized on me now than it was two years ago. The bad news? It would probably still be quite large on me until I was well into my teens. Neither Rasa nor the Third Kazekage had been particularly large individuals, but I was still a child. I'd be a child (in body, at least) for quite a while.

"Gaara of the Desert?" The burly Jounin asked, and I just nodded, walking past him to take my place with the team tasked with escorting me....

What do I write next?

As most of you probably know, my main project, 'Oak', is well on its way to finally being completed. Now, the question becomes what do I write next. I've decided to leave that decision up to you guys.

Chapter 65- Oak (Complete)

There was a visible change in Mewtwo, almost as if he had become resigned to something, and from there, the fight changed. He tossed Gai away like a ragdoll, flew straight into the air to meet Igneel’s charge, and ignored Kenpachi’s attempts to blast him with long-range attacks. His power was through the roof. The subtle psychic pressure I had been forced to adapt to suddenly tripled, as it felt like I had to force my body to take each breath it managed to.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I've called you here," Rasa said as he took a seat behind the desk in the office, normally reserved for the head of the Medical Ninja Corps. Chiyo plopped down on a different seat, looking none too pleased with the happenings. I just grunted at him, not really interested in whatever bullshit he had for me.

"I made you a promise," he said, and I just lifted an eyebrow. "I made you a promise, and nothing will change. The position of Kazekage will ...

Chapter 64- Oak (Complete)

When Mewtwo fought, he fought hard. He tore apart the coliseum with nothing but psychic power to defeat the Pokémon that encircled him. I scowled as Garchomp approached with the speed of a jet and was tossed aside with similar speed. Where the fuck was Dragapult?

It was as I asked the question that the ghost appeared, tearing itself right out of Garchomp’s shadow as the Pokémon was tossed aside, taking advantage of the element of surprise to crush Mewtwo in its ghostly au...

Chapter 16- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

Two weeks. It took me two weeks to come to a decision on what to do with my stat points. I'd spent the last two weeks hoping and wishing that the first day was a fluke, but it wasn't. I was getting my ass kicked academically by these nerds, and the worst part was that they could see it just as clearly as I could. When the lecturer asked a question I couldn't answer, the deafening silence was all I needed to know how they mocked me in their heads. Whenever I answered, they didn't even bother t...

I checked for the seventeenth time to ensure my seatbelt was properly fastened, and then I began searching my pockets and bandolier, making sure I had everything I could possibly need. Sitting opposite me, Cynthia just smiled before returning to exchanging whispers with Lance. I could hear what they were saying. The jet wasn’t so large that anyone could speak without speaking to the entire team. But they went to the effort of whispering, so I did my best to ignore their words.

Chapter 15- Gamer of the Desert (Complete)

As I watched Noel fall to the ground from exhaustion, I should have felt elated. I should be joyful. I should feel accomplished. Even the chime from the system at my completed quest did nothing to assuage the feeling in my stomach at the victory. I didn't win. Noel had just lost faster. Nothing I could do could touch him with that lightning armor. I was jolted out of my thoughts as the crowd began to explode in noise. I stared at them, unconsciously shifting my platform all around so I could ...

My first sight was Lance, looking much different from the man I had faced a month ago. He was relaxed, leaning back in a chair and nursing a cup of something warm as he spoke with Cynthia, the champion of Sinnoh. As our eyes met, I was forced to join the legion of people who had proclaimed her to be the most beautiful woman they had ever seen. She smiled at me before turning back to her conversation with the Champion of Indigo.

When I squared up against Noel, the last thought on my mind was how to make the fight interesting, how to turn it into a spectacle of some sort. I had no need to waste my energy figuring that out; it was practically guaranteed. I was to face off against the strongest genin at the tournament. If the show wasn't good, then that would be my fault.

When the referee started the fight, Noel wasted no time in blurring across the arena, rushing at me to engage in taijutsu, as if I would ever al...

Chapter 61- Oak (Complete)

Lance's Pokémon fought like monsters. That was the first thing I noticed as Drakloak was almost trampled by Charizard while it fought off the aggressive Igneel. None of my team would have been so uncaring. The ghost dragon had no difficulties escaping the situation, though, and headed right back for Ino and Kenpachi. Ino remained still, drawing it in and teleporting away at the last possible second. Instead, it found itself meeting a barrage of shadow balls that Kenpachi had fired like bulle...
