Payments Still Processing, Gonna Try Again Tomorrow

I guess the payments aren't going to finish processing tonight. I'm going to go to bed and check again in the morning.

It looks like they ARE processing, just really slowly.

Weird Processing Delay? Rewards May Be Late

I don't know what's going on but for some reason there's still a massive number of payments that haven't processed yet. I can't make my email list until they're at least like 95% done, so I'm sort of stuck until that happens. The rewards are marked and sorted, ready to go, so I'm just going to check back every hour or so and see if any progress has been made.

Sorry about this guys. I just can't afford to send out rewards before everything has processed, I'd effectively have to mail ever...

I got to try Procreate for the first time today! I love it! These are the first things I've drawn with it.

Comic Delay

Hey everybody, I'm sorry to do this again but I've overexerted my wrist doing too many all-nighters and it hurts to draw. I thought I could finish the page this morning but it still hurts. It's almost done, only like three hours worth of work to go, but I have to delay for now. I'm going to try and finish it tonight after some rest and painkillers.

Alright, we're getting started on the new one now! I'm still working on the cover but I'll have it finished and up by tomorrow night, and it will be included with this first page when rewards are sent out. New Comic Starting Sunday!

We're on-track for launching on Sunday! It may end up being later in the day than usual, but the first post of the new comic should still be tomorrow evening. If anything changes I will let you guys know.

Models for the Next Comic!

Here are my final models for our new cast! From left to right: Tragia the weasel, Skids the cat, and Brooks the finch. These are actually extremely old characters of mine so I had to update their designs quite a bit to fit how I draw now, but they're actually closer to my original visions of them now (for instance, I always wanted Brooks to be chubby, but I used to really suck at drawing body fat). Rewards Going Out Tonight

Hello everybody, just reminding you all that since I'm emailing out December's rewards tonight you need to make sure you saved the previous month's rewards if you were a patron at the time. I store rewards on Google Drive, which has limited memory, so every month I have to delete the old rewards to make room for the new ones. You're gonna want to save them to your own device each month. I haven't reminded you guys of that in a while so I thought I ought to now.

January Theme + Next Comic

Hey guys, so there's only one page left to go in Rise of Chet, which means a new weekly comic is on the horizon! I thought I should give you all the breakdown on what's happening next:

First of all, I'll be taking at least one week off after Rise of Chet ends to work on the new comic. I say "at least" because I MAY need two weeks, but probably not. Week 4 Reward for December

I'm so happy this is my last piece of the year, I really like it. It's a pretty cool and unusual composition/pose. Also I've been meaning to draw Boshi for years and years.

This should be finished by tomorrow night. I'm actually gonna turn that Yoshi into Boshi from Mario RPG, who was basically just this kind of badass Yoshi who wore spikes and stuff. Probably gonna give Bowser his usual accessories, too.

Holiday Comic Delay

I'm really sorry to do this at the last minute but with all my computer problems this week and some unexpected bad news that I wasn't really prepared for I'm gonna have to delay the comic by a day. I know I've been delaying a lot lately but it's been a weird couple of months and hopefully when the new year starts and my new PC is built (and I start going to therapy again) a lot of this stuff will be resolved. Week 2 Reward for December

Thanks for your patience everybody, my laptop nearly quit on me yesterday and I didn't get to finish this like I'd planned. Thankfully I just ordered my new computer parts last night and I think I figured out some adjustments to keep this thing going until next month. Worst case scenario I could always do a reward with real mediums, I just kind of hate them so I'd rather not.
