Various WIP's

Okay! Sorry for the no uploads. It's much easier to handle line arts when I work on them in batches, but I think I picked too many to work on this time. I might dedicate only the weekends to line arts so I can have a healthy balance of drawing and painting.

Anyway! Here's some works in progress. My big focus this month is getting caught up on ideas I've had. I tried to have a mix of artworks I like, poll winners (Baldr and Dorothea in this case), and some that felt easy to finish.

Various WIP and Art Talk

Art talk time!

I want to have some transparency on what I've been doing lately. I found a way for me to enjoy doing line art, which I basically just paint it and have lots of layers. Line art can save a huge amount of time and I decided to practice it with Hex Maniac and Catura.

Because it's working so well, I'm going to try and follow through with my 4-day art schedule. The 4-day schedule (was 3 but found out that is too stressful), is extremely important to me to stay active and...

Still refining the line art of older sketches and then coloring to see how quickly I can finish. I picked something more detailed and learned that the cleanliness of the original sketch goes a long way in saving time.

I plan on making a post detailing this more and showing the line arts I've been prepping to color, so look forward to that soon!

Sorry for this wait on this one, I was trying to figure out a good way to make variants more dramatically different while also being relatively quick and clean. I realized I needed to start off with a simple pose and then work my way up to the original idea, which gave the variants you see here!

Meme - A Rudimentary Skill

I haven't made a May post yet, so this will also be a mini blog post.

Felt like changing gears a bit and made a meme with Baldr and Cyberpunk!

Still aiming to have something like this done once a week (preferably on Sunday or Monday). They don't take too long (few hours at most) and nice way for me to break up the flow and try different things with painting a bit. I'd like to have these posted on Patreon first and then on other social medias the day after.
