Sunday Bod Doodles

Been practicing with my hatching lately for sketches! Really had a ton of fun on the first one, and would love to see about cleaning it up a bit for a quick pic!

Salazzle Stuffings pt 1 and 2

Heeey finally getting some progress on this sequence XD. Been chipping away at it every sunday for a few weeks now so that they didn't die in some folder. Got the 2nd one finished, and some good progress on the others. I figured I'd start posting these in groups of 2 as I knock them out!

It's also crazy comparing the first and 2nd pic. Did the 1st one probably a year and a half ago compared to the newest one. Color work has really changed a bunch over the last few years haha.

Hey look at that, the final coin! I'm sure nothing at all could go wrong with adding that to the rest haha.

1 set of lines down for the month! That leaves 6 more pages to ink now before they are all wrapped up! Then just comes the monumental task of coloring them all haha. Looking to get another 2 pages inked this month, so expect some more soon!

Poll on possible changing $10 tier to a Print tier

So I've been pondering over this for a bit now, but I've been somewhat unhappy with the $10 tier and have been considering a possible change to it. One of the major ideas I've had is to change it up so that it's now a art print tier. Pretty much what this means is that every month the speed paint picture similar to those shown below be turned into a roughly 5" by 7" art print. This would turn the tier into a bit of a merch tier in addition to the psd tier.

Traditional Sketches Jun 22'

And here are all of the doodles and sketches from this year so far! Got all of the random doodles with Lucario and Lugia in it, along with some various figure sketches. Bit of a behind the scenes of a lot of my work and paintings haha, along with some future ideas!

Traditional Studies

Gathered up enough traditional drawings to finally do a round of scans again. Went ahead and separated out the 2 groups, with the first being a round of studies I did a few months back! Spent a few hours at a life drawing session with Naru, which was a ton of fun! Haven't ever gotten to do a live one before, and it was such a great experience.

End of Month update June

Wow this month sort of flew by! Had a lot of good progress on various things this month! Wrapping up with a few little side projects that have been needing some attention for a bit before I hop back into comic mode!

Neck studies

So every once in a blue moon I delve into some various studies. Been wanting to work on my necks and overall head area for a bit now, and though I'd spend a chunk of my sketching time this morning sort of going over stuff. Feeling pretty good about a lot of the landmarks with it right now, will probably dabble with some more on my free time over the next month or so!

Mid Month Update June

Alrighty and now on to the mid month update! Since I just finished off the Leafeon day pic, it's a bit smaller but I hope thats okay! 

First off, now that the Leafeon day pic is done, it's time to start working on some more comic lines. Got pg 31 up right now, figure this is going to take most of this week and weekend to knock out. After that I'll be working on the speed paint of Lucario!

So on June 18th we got the Leafeon Eeveelution day! Wanted to doodle something up with Cyl and the husband Leif. Being the professional baker that he is, Leif of course was gonna make a little cake log for Leafeons. Cyl being the sugar gremlin that they are, of course is barely going to give it a second to live, despite already clearing out half the bakery already....

Had a bit of a doodle session this morning, and poured out way too much Lucario doodles haha. What can I say, I really like their hips ;u;!!!

Probably not the best scene to walk in on when you open your gold vault. Bod tends to be a bit voracious when it comes to collecting all of that loot, and will more than happily stuff that suit with as much as they can hold given the chance~

Finally got this one done! Got to play around with some new stuff on this one that I really was happy with! Got 2 versions uploaded, one is the full pic, and the second is going to be a sticker I'm getting made! Will let yah know as soon as the stic...

June/July Speed paint poll!

So I had too much fun over the last 2 months with the speed paints, and feel that folks really enjoyed seeing those again! Looking to make this a sort of monthly thing from now on to do these 3-4 hr paintings! Here is the list of the current ones that I think would be fun to do from either digimon or pokemon! Thinking of adding in some other games or characters in the future, but for now these all have a lot of designs that I always have loved X3!

So also for this one I'm taking the top...

May 22' End of month update

Heya everyone, here is an update on stuff that's in the works currently! Going back and revisiting the old Poha sequence I had started years ago. Currently knocking out the backgrounds on the pages, was hoping to get a bit more done over this 3 day weekend but sadly got hit with Covid (thanks work X'3). Taking it a bit easy as I try and recover from it, so hoping to be back in the art swing soon!

Also starting to get some more work in on the suit sticker! Getting pretty close to finishi...

Hooray for getting another done! Will probably be posting this rather than a midmonth update, but I figure this is probably is a bit better than a mid month update haha! Really happy with how this one came out, had some fun getting stones down for once rather than gold!!

End of Month Update April!

And finally at the end of the month for April! Got some good progress in on the next comic page this month, currently got to just finish up Naru and Nexus in this current page before I can wrap it up!

Had a lot of fun stuff in the works this month. Got my first major painting of the year done, and a new speed paint done in ages! Starting to really get back in the swing of things, and it's making me way too happy haha. I'm expecting the current page to take about another week or so of wo...

Finally wrapped up the speed paint poll! Was a ton of fun getting to finally paint up Renamon after years. Heck I think the last and only time I'd done it in the past was for a round of marker requests XD.

Mid month update April

Time to post an update I feel folks have been waiting for! Got a big chunk of work done on the next page over the weekend! Pretty much got the background done on this one, and quickly working my way through Bod's rendering now.  Gonna take a bit to get it all cleaned up, but I'm expecting most of the details to get fleshed out rather quickly!

Next I figured I'd drop off the teaser pic I did for the latex painting. Felt really good about the pose and usage of white for it :3!
