Unity Test Build Alpha 0.08 Changelog
-The Unity Build is ready! ...Kinda!
-This is the first part of the rebuild, with everything between the Prologue and Chapter 14.
While there's no new content, the saves from this build WILL carry over to new Unity versions. So this could be a good opportunity to get caught up and ready for new chapters without having to speed run everything next week (Hopefully)!

Hey guys!
I had originally planned to make this post yesterday but uh, decided to give it a day for obvious reasons.
Anyway, here's an update on what's going on with Out of Touch for the next couple of weeks.
The Unity rebuild is going well, we just had our first Vol. 1 build go out to testers and had some great feedback. A ton of bugs were inevitably found and we think we've gotten most of them.

Finally, it's here. (Sort of).
The Beta version of Vol. 1 is now ready for Patron testers to get their hands on. I tried to smooth it out as much as I could, but I still need your guys help to find any sneaky bugs or mistakes.

Work on the Vol. 1 Beta is going great, stuff like the new GUI and some other big new features are coming along really well.
But here's the thing: For the most part, the work that's left to do is being done by friends and contractors so I just decided to, well, keep going and get a head start on Vol. 2!

The art and writing for the chapter 1 remake are essentially complete. I'm still working on the coding for the gameplay sections but because it affects all chapters pretty equally, I'm just doing it as I finish the art.
Actually speaking of chapter 2, I've completed all art assets for chapter 2 too! Julia and her new, more fashionable skirt were quite enjoyable to remake in particular.
Now it's just putting the pieces together and mapping out...

Well good news, the chapter 1 remake is just about done!
Thank you everyone for your feedback on the test build for chapter 1, I think I'm going to change how navigation is done in the adventure segments so it's a little more clear where you can go.
With that, I'm now doing the backgrounds for chapter 2 and 3 before I get to writing those. These should potentially go quicker since there's far less conversational dialogue, but CJ may have some silly monologues and both Jamie ...

Hey guys!
Here's a Monday update on what I've been doing over the weekend. Unsurprisingly, it's still the chapter 1 adventure stuff.
This segment is when Jamie, CJ and Sarah are walking around just after Jamie meets them at the train station. Instead of just cutting straight to after school, like in the existing material, you instead get to play as Jamie and explore the town with CJ and Sarah.

Just an update on what's going on: Work is progressing nicely on the next chapter of the VN. Chapter 15 is the biggest chapter of the VN yet by nearly double at well over 400 unique images.
