I got my wife into the game Panel de Pon, and the cat had taken my seat, so I sat on an adjacent couch. I then thought it was a great opportunity to draw her playing. At first I did it just for a reference pose, but then realized I could hold up the iPad like a window! Turned out to be a pretty cool effect, I think.
The photo I posted on Twitter was a slightly earlier version. I was a little excited about what was happening so I posted a photo a little too early. 😆 Ah well.

Nurse Becky moves Gonzo in such a way that he seems independently lifelike; not only because she can flick and twist sections of his body to intentionally direct his "appendages", but she does it all even during moments of intense concentration like this, where you'd think she would be too distracted to be directing a puppet, if that makes sense.

This was previously a sketch of giraffe mom in swimwear but it slowly faded into being normal clothing... because I somehow figured it would be more fun if she were in a very regular setting, though I'm still unsure what to do with this image. Another sketch of Pom that I managed to do within about 30 minutes, shockingly... I drew her face and wasn't sure what to do next, but then wife offered to pose for the rest, so she sat down on the dog bed for a bit which was helpful, haha. It at least helped me figure out how I can twist her legs/feet like that and it feasibly makes sense since she happened to do it that way in real life; I don't think I would've done that without a model.
