Feministary

J'ai mis en place Feministary, une sorte de communauté artistique féministe éphémère basée sur des citations de femmes inspirantes toujours en vie et le jour J arrive enfin. 

Entre nous, je suis plutôt stressée. J'ai peur que ça fasse un gros flop et d'être la seule à participer. Je ne sais pas bien si ça intéresse les gens et j'ai très peu de retours dessus.

Je croise les doigts et on verra bien!

Pour m'organiser, j'ai déjà dessiné ma première illustration, ...

Birthday Month - Goals.

This month is hosting my fabulous Birthday. And because I like dreaming big, I always make January feel special, at least for me.

I found out that setting up clear goals help me so much to grow.

So I decided that if I reach $100 on Patreon this month, I will pick one of all my patrons, no matter their pledge and draw something for free for this person (usually my custom drawings are $80).

I just finished this illustration and I wanted to show you before anyone else!

I had this idea last night while falling asleep thinking about depression feelings and I had to draw it first hour in the morning.

She basically jut send me 4 illustrations she liked and I worked from there. I really like this one and I wish I could keep it for myself. But loving your own art doesn't pay the bills. ahah

Here it is! 

To be honest, it's the third drawing I did for this month, but I couldn't like the two first ones. I wanted to propose something Christmasish, but in a "kid books" style. So I tried to draw some characters, which didn't work. Then, I went for a house in the woods. Didn't work either. And this cute tree with these white birds for only christmas decorations sounded like the one.

Depression - illustration

Je crois que je viens de commencer une série sur la dépression et ce qu’elle me fait ressentir. C’est rare pour moi de proposer un travail aussi personnel. Je sais que ce n’est pas révolutionnaire, que beaucoup l’ont déjà fait, mais j’espère que ça me fera du bien.

Today is not easy. Depression, my sweet old friend, is sitting on my shoulder and waiting for me to fall. I pretend its not here, I pretend to don't pay attention, but fuck, it's a heavy one today.
