Confectioner - Process
So, this isn't exactly perfect as far as conceptualizing goes, but I thought people might none the less be interested in seeing how I went about it.
I wasn't too happy with the big poofy dress up top and went back to try and remedy it. That's when trying a silhouette first came in, which helped me nail down what I was trying for more and then execute on that. Which is to say, silhouettes are super powerful and important and I really should've started with some instead of just using one ...

Spent some time today on stream concepting a character I've wanted to design for a while.
More loose setting/world-building type stuff for dirty sci-fi tiddies.
Worked fairly low-resolution on this one which was fairly helpful in not getting bogged down by tiny details when trying to work on the larger concept. But I'll get something bigger of her done eventually.

So, both of these pics are sort of a combination of getting use to my new tablet and also trying something new. While I can stand to refine it some, I honestly really enjoyed both the process and way these turned out overall - especially since the time they took was drastically lower than most pieces.
Hopefully you all don't mind me trying to explore style and try new things, and I'd certainly like to know if this sort of stuff is up ya'lls alley.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to communicate a little!
Recently I've switched up my tablet, so there's been a bit of a learning curve to adapting from a non-screen one to drawing directly on the screen itself. It's not a massive difference, but it's taking a little getting use to.
On top of that I've been trying to re-adjust my process a little bit to explore more into "painting" and what not, and in that vein things have gotten a little messier between the former and latter.
