Selling Drugs in the Dungeon should be a profitable business, no? Chapter 20

“Why are we not moving in?! They are right there! Easy prey!” A voice hisses from the hiding spot above a rooftop, away from prying eyes and with a clear view towards a certain shop.

If you wish to test your luck, then do go ahead, Kampe.” A heavier, powerful voice answers the hiss-like voice, the owner a towering man clad in bulky silver armor, a red cape with a yellow thunderbolt resting over his right shoulder.

Kampe grinds his yellowed teeth, sickly ...

“You’re an idiot.”

Well, that’s a new way someone has greeted me soon after I wake up.

I blink and turn my head to stare at Ning Guang, her gaze flat and very deadpan as she lay squatting over the surface of water to my right, cheeks cupped in her hands.

“Greetings to you too?” My grinned greeting just makes her give me an even more flat stare back.

“What even made you want to fight a beast so far out of your league?” She questions, seeming more curious...

I breathe out.

Lightning flashes above, lighting up the mist my breath turned into.

It’s cold. Insanely so.

I find it comforting.

I breathe in, then look up as lightning flashes once more.

The enormous growling head of a pitch black dragon looms just a few meters ahead of me.

Teeth the size of buildings reflect the light of the lightning above, a lone glowing blood-red eye remaining fixed on my form as a growl flows out of those enormous jaws.

Chapter 4: Legacy

She can feel it.

The time is drawing closer and closer.

His steps started slowing down. His shoulders were stiff with fear. He was less quiet and more talkative, a sudden burst of energy and brightness before it all fades away.

Like a beautiful firework.

A firework that hurt her deeply.

Her Senior Brother will soon die. Someone who, after the month they spent traveling together, she started viewing as h...

Chapter 3: A Cultivator’s Legacy

“Have you ever thought about Cultivating, Junior Sister Ying?” The question came so suddenly that her steps halted.

Her bright eyes blink a few times, fixed upon that tall and stalwart back of her Senior Brother before her.

Then, she decides to shrug and just answer the question. “I always wondered how it felt like.” She says honestly, earning a chuckle from her Senior Brother.

Chapter 2: A Cultivator’s Tears

Cold and slightly trembling fingers flicked through dusty remains of a lightly destroyed building.

Glass shards and stone clattered to the ground as large and lightly torn bed sheets are lifted, then flapped in the air a few times.

Dust filled the room, but the only alive occupant soon left while wrapping the lightly colored sheet around her trembling form, misty breaths leaving her form in quick successi...

Pain.

That is all she could feel. Each breath is short and ends with a with a sharp spine of pain.

Her eyes sting from pain, dust and tears. Her lips are dry. Her mouth tastes dust and blood, a foul mix that makes her want to retch.

But being buried beneath rubble – beneath heavy stone and wood– did not grant her the space to vacate her stomach. Something that is the least o...

Usually, you’re not this calm when you are about to scold me.” My voice – My old Voice – speaks up.

I ‘blink’ awake, finding myself standing before a place I’ve been missing dearly.

My family home in the woods, back on Earth.

And out of the door walk two figures, and one of them makes my ‘eyes’ sting with tears. My father.

His enormous form casts an imposing figure, mixed with his large mane of untamed black hair and huge graying beard, it...

Murata, a surname that became rather famous during the last decade of the Dark Age.

Initially, many suspected connections to infamous Villain groups and such gangs, with hidden deals that helped their strange rise during an era where barely anything flourished.

Yet the Murata Corporation did. They thrived, and focused deeply into technological advancement.

Their discoveries, creations and actions greatly helped speed up the rebuilding stage after the Dark Era finally came to...

Her fingers danced across her guitar, testing the strings and the tones, calibrating it and fine-tuning it.

A towel gently passed across it’s surface, keeping it’s shine perfectly preserved, enough so to even show her own reflection.

The playlist of old music hummed in the background as she followed through with her other instruments, keeping them clean and ready to use.

The song ends, another one starts, and a frown crosses her face as she swiftly skips it.

I feel like I am in danger.

Like, serious danger. There’s a faint ghostly ache coming from my hips, and I can literally feel Kirin’s distant gaze burning holes through me.

I can’t see her due to my face being quite comfortably sat between Alfia’s generous bust, nor can I sense her as my senses are quite… Overdrafted.

Sword Intent is basically enforcing my Will on the World. Wanting something with such great conviction, desire and power that Reality itself shifts to...

A fin the size of a three story building tears through the mossy rocks like a storm mowing and uprooting trees.

Dust, pebbles and stones are hurled through the air as I lift my arm and brace myself against the incoming blow.

I feel it in my bones on impact, shaking me like nothing ever has, and rattling my very organs in a way that sickens me, making me feel like I want to throw up.

Yet, the rampaging waves of Qi coursing through my body instantly quell that feeling and damp...

“Just training won’t do us any good.” Kyoka says, and I hum as I move the pawn forward.

I’ve been having these kind of dreams often these days.

An empty and seemingly endless white landscape, with just me and her in it, and a small table with chess pieces on it.

“Can’t really do anything beyond that without drawing attention.” My training is progressing smoothly. Insanely fast too, but that might be Anime Bullshit at work.

Beating Hearts! The new name for the ‘Let the beat drop!’ rewrite!

Now, why am I rewriting that fic, you may ask? That’s because I failed the plans and expectations I had for it. I failed the fic itself as a writer, and I hate it.

Beat Drop is a fic that I deeply love, and loved writing it… But I messed up in it’s writing by letting my original hate for certain things guide me forward a bit too much, so I shall rectify that. View Post

“I am very mad with you, Cally.” Said gray haired Demi-Human lowered her ears, laying them flat against her head as she knelt on the ground before a visibly angry Meteria.

The girl who the whole Hera Familia adores and cherishes deeply taps her foot on the ground, eyes narrowed in a mild glare that does not fit her adorable and cute face.

Alfia sat to the side, eyes closed and enjoying a cup of tea as the twin Demi-Humans lay before her enraged younger twin.

“You want me to join the Expedition in the Dungeon?” I repeat Kirin’s request as I set the sweet buns before me before grabbing a knife.

The woman – who is wearing a kimono which is far too loose for my liking – nods with a sweet smile on her face as she leans against the counter, making her chest wobble quite a bit. Clearly on purpose.

I steal a glance at that wondrous cleavage, and her sweet smile swiftly turns into a predatory smirk. Damn vixen.

A bit of a change.

Unfortunately, this isn't a chapter update just yet. Drugs in the Dungeon will be updated in... a few hours, so don't worry.

Either way, on the topic of this post.

After a bit of thought, i've decided to put an end of Commissions after this month, so starting October i won't do commissions anymore. I've also seeked the opinion of those on my discord server, and they all voted for the cut-off due to me being close to risking a burn-out it'll take weeks to walk off.

Turns out that this Black Dragon is some big shot that is basically a walking trauma for everyone, cause he is just so powerful and… well, scary, that speaking about him is kind-of taboo.

And now, me, a survivor of his hit-and-run and quick assertion of dominance, is apparently a big ball of trauma and suppressed bullshit that everyone wants to take care of.

Hell, everyone is looking at me like I’m gonna break any second now! And I’m not!

The stench of blood and urine filled my nostrils, a stench like no other.

One that I’ve grown used to over the past hours.

Same with the aching of my knuckles, and the soreness of my arms.

P-Please…” The filth speaks, and I do not mask my surprise at that.

His voice comes out garbled and broken as he coughs out copious amounts of blood and broken teeth.

The dirty plates and silverware on said table clatter back down on the desk, the God having clearly been in the middle of eating when he was given very horrendous news.

Mornings for Kirin starts slow and relaxing, getting ready for a long day of dealing with paperwork and preparations for the next Expedition, which she decided to set back a week or two due to giving Riley time to prepare the Pills she requested.

First, she does some stretching, then some training just so to not get rusty and practice her techniques.

Then an hour of meditation, to prepare her mind for the long day ahead.

And finally, a very hot bath for yet another hour. She...

“You really can use anything for your Pills?” Kirin questions curiously, eyes glinting with both amusement and interest as she watched Riley just buy all the flowers in the shop.

The teen shrugs lightly, a minute smile on his lips. “Not everything, of course.” He hums out, eyes twitching with amusement when a short, pink haired Pallum girl with a very pissed off expression picked up one of the boxes filled with his purchase before bolting down the road.

“I still don’t like this.” I sigh out towards Kirin, her amicable smile growing warmer at my words.

“I understand, but this is simply us helping you get started. Investing in a business we want to support is completely normal, no?” Tch, she’s very good with her words.

Finding this ‘Riley’ wasn’t hard for Hera.

What was hard was listening to the swooning of all the girls that she sent to track him down.

Fucking pretty boy creating even more chaos for her to handle.

One of the scouts she sent out and laid eyes on Riley had swiftly started howling on how she wanted to bear his children.
