Vanessa's oepration guillotine requires the capture of high value CPD targets, however - when the officers escape they must capture combat units.
It requires the mass sacrificing of her own units but it does pay off.
They must attempt to take them by hand and the results can be interesting.

The Black Faction Units were a part of a rotunda sized force of about 60 units who attempted to take a CPD location, the first 5 minutes of combat were extremely intense as season KTS units were supporting the mostly dysfunctional CPD units.
The usual take one unit out then get taken out yourself mass battle took place between the Red and Black Clad Units until the KTS units deployed flanking manoeuvres to ambush the reserve units moving in to replace the expended units at the ski...

So she uniforms up, and runs out with a sacrificial squad at the end of the battle.
On the way through running past and stepping over the bodies of her own units, the ones she sacrificed and those of the enemy.
A sense of satisfaction over comes her in seeing the destruction

Their commandeer had written them off as a loss
the KTS Unit attempted to gather intelligence from them
However they have no clue about the operation, they just turn up and fight.
So the KTS unit followed procedure implemented by the Alliance agreement and eliminated the units.
