HAU with two Standards In Support

The KTS unit had been picking off Sentry units when the HAU responded with a pair of Standard combat units in support.

Utilising the Standard Combat Units for what they are for, she managed to score an elimination on the KTS Unit.

The Interrogation Part 1

Vanessa deployed Barberella to begin work on interrogating members from Lauren's Sector particularly units who worked closely with her shortly before her demise.

Barberella obtained special disabling rounds from a KTS unit who was hunting for information of a similar nature. 

Vanessa's stolen Terminal reveals some information, but she needs muscle to really get to the bottom of it.

It is so good seeing the props in action after working hard on them yesterday! I never fully appreciate how physical it is to make the stuff that photoman did. So much more appreciation now!

Custom made shapes designed by photoman to be multi us, I assisted him painting today. I cannot say I enjoy working with hands hahaha. The aggregate paint is very course. But the effect is great! Baby steps towards bigger things!

Operation Mallera-Deep. (Spoiler Alert)

I have not attempted to make the final book covering the Apex wars due to Ayla being unable to shoot again. Poor girl has been sick and we needed to get her confidence up shooting last time. Which she was amazing, but I feel Covid will put a stop to it in the immediate future. But I am working on a new issue separate at the moment. Liquid Earth Trap

Multiple Squads were deployed as part of an operation against Alliance positions within a deep facility. 

The operation was in support of a territory grab with a high amount of Azologoth detected. 

As normal Black Faction like the Dark Empire of the Mistress it is, moves in dozens upon dozens of Standard Combat Units to take the area from Alliance Units. 

The Positions however were traps laid by the Alliance (KTS) to lure in a hefty force of Black Faction.

Broader Theme Development

I have a base story line scratched down for this month, it is diving into themes of the occult & how hierarchical power structures have strange rituals & things of secrecy .

New Generation with the older generation

For those Standard combat units who went through the Zuvic incursion & the Apex Wars fresh blood does not seem to have the same level of experience as the more seasoned counterparts. 

Even though the privateer era brings an unprecedented level of complexity & more consistent low intensity fighting to the standard ranks, the older generation still looks down on the younger generation with disdain.
