Hi,
just want to let you know that the next report will be uploaded tomorrow instead of today like you're used to due to the extensive rendering.
I had to correct the lyp syncing for Momiji and Honoka and everything post dream scene is rendering now. While it's rendering, I am giving the rest of the animation the Vegas touch ;) The lighting is 100% done and I'll give you some examples on how whole intro will look at the end!

Dream Scene is done, with the exception of the lighting and objects to make the map look wet and reflective, which I'll do when the VAs are hired.

I decided to upload the entire clip instead of splitting it into multiple ones so you don't have to click on 6 links and wait for them to load. Also I think you get a better understanding of the transitions if you see the whole clip as one.

Hi there,
I am currently working on part 2/3 of the dream scene (which is about 3 mins long) and that part required more refining than I thought. I even had to "reanimate" an entire scene because it was that messed up. On the plus side, it led to an increase of total running rtime since I managed to use that refined scene for additional seconds with another camera angle and some variety in thrusting speed. The entire sequence has a better pacing now and doesn't feel that rushed anymore...

First off: 1/2 of the Movie is completely rendered! It only took 2 days to completely render the parts in SFM. I remember when I did Gadabout 1 and those lengths would have taken about week, even more than that. I am glad I bought a new processor after Gadabout 1. The duration of the render was quite traumatic :P
