Hey guys!~ ✨ Still healing up from surgery but I was getting antsy, so I spent a good few hours today getting Casual Astolfo ready for animating in Rainbow Reanimated! 💖💖

Exclusive first look at the very first version of the In Too Deep MV!
While I'm continuing to heal up from surgery, I wanted to share with you all something that's never been seen publicly- the first pass at the Battle Tapes In Too Deep Music Video! I did this first block-in 100% in Source Filmmaker using temporary assets (Including Astolfo!) as we worked to get everything setup in Blender for the final shots. This pass essentially served as our 3D Storyboards and took about a month or two to make if I'm remembering correctly.

The Swimsuit section is now 100% laid out! ✨Still need to animate most of these shots and block in the hoodie Astolfo shots and the final shot, but after that the Rainbow MV will be 100% in place, with only animation and polish remaining after that! :D

Due to my workflow of choice being so different than in the original Rainbow music video, reusing poses/compositions this time around would prove far more difficult than it's worth. As a result, I'm going to make virtually every pose and composition for the Swimsuit section unique and more "illustration" like. That's gonna make it take awhile of course, but I'm superrr excited by how this is looking in motion already!! Vacation is now over!
Hey everyone! 👋 I'm now done with my vacation and will try to share updates as I continue to work on Rainbow's Swimsuit sequence and the Pomni animation rig. I'm also beginning work on writing the pilot episode for my original animated series this week which is extremely exciting!!!
I watched and read a lot of cyberpunk media as well as a few books on storytelling last week and can't wait to share more details as the series begins to take form this year!
