V0.1.2 Fix

For the Tier 3 patrons that downloaded V0.1.2, a bug was reported that would lock players out of Rina's level 1 training content if you captured Vlester yourself after doing Rina's introduction event.  Since this bug would prevent players from accessing content, a fix was released as soon as I could get it out.  

All links from the original V0.1.2 release post have been updated to the fixed version.  Several typos in the early game have also been fixed in it.

Rise of Corruption V0.1.2 release dates

The tier 3 patron release date is Friday, May 5th 12:00 P.M. EST

The public release will be on Friday, May 19th 12:00 P.M. EST

Content included will be:

Rina's introduction event and level 1 corruption events and scenes, Conquest of Vlester, new scenes for Rina and Yukako, and more.  A detailed changelog will be included in each release.

V0.1.2 Development Update

Development of V0.1.2 is going much faster than expected due to some unexpected free time for me recently, and I have used most of it to work on V0.1.2.  In fact, all content planned for V0.1.2 is in the game, and being tested.  So far, I haven't found any major issues, but there are still a few things that need to be fixed and adjusted before it's release.

Expect the release dates for the patron and public releases to be posted within the next few days.

Poll Results, and V0.1.2 Content

Now that the Poll is done, it is time to discuss the results, and content planned for V0.1.2.  For patrons that did not see the poll, the poll was in relation to the status of the Demon King mentioned in the opening text, and a few more times throughout the game.  The Demon King will be rewritten to be the Demon Queen, with the intention of her, and some of her generals to also be corrupted and join the harem.  The content that introduces the characters would be too much to inc...

I have mentioned before that there would be a poll determining if certain harem members are added into the game, and this is it.  So here it is now that we are nearing the point where it would be needed.

V0.1.2 Development Plans

Now that the discord server is up, I have been getting some things ready to begin development of 0.1.2, such as images, setting up variables, and getting certain plot lines ready.  The image above, is for Rina's introduction event that starts her corruption.  The event itself, has all images for it complete, and ready to put in the game.

Next week on the 18th, V0.1.1 becomes public.  So far, I have only received one reported bug in 0.1.1, and while I have already fixed it...

Discord Server Launched

The discord server is up for all patrons to access.  I'll probably have to make some adjustments to it as I get better at running it, but it should be able to serve it's purpose for now.

Progress on Making Discord Server

I mentioned in the last public post I made, that I would be creating a discord server since it has been requested a few times.  I would like to say that progress on making one has been going well.  I haven't really used discord at all, much less ran my own server, so it will likely be something I will have to improve and manage better over time.

V0.1.1 Release Dates

The intended release dates for 0.1.1 are Tuesday, April 4th for tier 3 patrons, and then April 18th for the public release.

I'll have a detailed changelog when it is released, but I'll give some of the highlights of what is included in the update.

V0.1.1 Development Update

Here's some updates on the current state of development.  

Currently, development is going well.  Yukako's introduction event is fully working, and some of the other types of content is in the game.  Yukako's level 1 repeatable content is still being added in, and some of the conquest and compliance events for the first village taken in her route is still being worked on, but overall good progress is being made.

With the Poll on the release order of future content concluded, I can start full development on the next update.  I have already done some work on things that would not change regardless of the poll results, so the next update isn't completely new in development.  So, here are some previews of what is currently being worked on.

Plans for Combat in Rise of Corruption

As I have mentioned before, combat is far from the intended focus of Rise of Corruption.  However, many of you might remember that combat was a problem that bothered many in the initial release before the fix.  People have wanted to know how combat will be handled in the future of this game, so I will explain in detail what my plans for combat are, the mentality I have towards it, and some related things.  There will be spoilers for people that have not played the game yet.

Determining Release order of Future Content.

Yukako's introduction and level one events will be the focus of the next update, however the update after that is still not yet determined.  Would you like for the following updates to focus entirely on Yukako, or would you like for updates to alternate between Yukako and Rina?

Rise of Corruption V0.1.0 Fix

This is a fixed version of V0.1.0 That addresses many issues reported in the initial release.

Changelog:

• Fixes - removed bug that prevented leaving the castle if you didn't do the first side quest.
• QoL - Misaki now tells you to go to storage room for bed and potions at start
• QoL - Misaki tells you to talk to characters if you have problems.  This will hopefully be better at pointing players in the right direction if they need more direction to talk to ...

Development Plans

Over the next few days, I will be addressing some feedback to fix some bugs, balancing, and general Quality of life additions.

There will also be test builds put out for Mac and Linux users to try.

Once these two are taken care of, I will begin work on the next content update, which will begin Yukako's corruption, and add more quests.  Tier 3 Patrons will have access to this build 2 weeks early.
