Hi Guys!

I finally have for you the new tutorial about painting Wurmspat's spear!

I'm sorry for all the delays but in this heat I don't only struggle with painting, I can barely think and my brain wants to fall asleep every 5 minutes :D

For the next year I will try to figure our some kind of air conditioning :D

I hope you will enjoy this PDF, and now I go and try to work on a video tutorial which I will hopefully have for you for this Friday :D

The next tutorial tomorrow

I'm sorry guys but I will be able to upload the next tutorial tomorrow.

Unfortunately it's impossible to know upfront how much time I will need for painting stuff and to make right calculations that would tell me when I will finish.

But now I finished painting the arm holding the spear, and tomorrow I will only have the tutorial left to make, so it will really happen tomorrow :D

Yes, the pattern on the handle of the spear is a freehand and it was real fun to paint it :)

As you can see on this one I continue my work on the Wurmspat Chaos Warrior.

That's why I'm very happy that I finally have a new tutorial for you!

The new elements of the armor will be glazed with turquoise and brown colors (yes, the chainma...

Adrax Agatone finished

After over a year long break from working on this miniature I finally finished my version of Adrax Agatone!

I'm really thankful for your patience and support because if I didn't make this break I could never paint the base on such high level.

After the miniature was almost finished I felt totally burned out and I didn't have any inspiration left for this miniature. This break was what I really needed.

If you will follow tag "Adrax Agatone" below this post you will be redirec...

Adrax's Agatone base

Hi!

I finally finished the base of my Adrax Agatone.

As you might remember I stopped working on this miniature a Year ago because I lost inspiration for this miniature. Another reason is that I painted the base with an airbrush and Vallejo Air paints and the base never stopped being sticky.

I waited for it to dry out for a day, then another, then a week, a month and after that I didn't want to come back to this project.

Now after over a year when I took the base ...

Rusty spear painted with the NMM technique

Hello!

Today I have for you a video tutorial about painting the spear of my Wurmspat Chaos Warrior miniature.

The spear is painted fully in nmm with the use of my stripes and the Glaze technique.

In case if you would like to learn more about the glaze technique then I tried to explain it as well as I could in this video: https://youtu.be/JfUmD1OA9KM

As you can see once again I speeded up a few parts o...

Reddit

Hi Guys!

I decided to join Reddit because I heard good things about it and watching miniatures on FB groups doesn't really work for me. So far I don't really know what is happening and how does it work, but I'm already very happy with what I can see on my "wall". For now on I will post photos of my miniature also in there, and my community page you can find by following this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/F...

Wurmspat 4

Hi!

I've just uploaded in the post below the newest tutorial about painting my Wurmspat Chaos warrior. As you can see this time I'm not trying to imitate anything real, but to create more fantastic looking color scheme based on turquoise, green and yellow color colors that will look different.

All of this is NMM  and was painted with a paint brush, so if you don't know how to use an airbrush properly don't worry, so do I. That's why I'm painting everything old school, just wi...

Wurmspat's back

Hi!

I finally have for you the new tutorial!

I sorry for the delay but unfortunately yesterday I got beaten up by fever and was not able to work at all. Blue/Yellow armor trailer

Hi!

Check out the trailer of my newest video tutorial!

The full video tutorial is available in the post below this one, you can also find it if you will follow the tag "wurmspat_warrior"

As you can see I continue my journey in which I'm working on a different type of armor that is part yellow, part green and part turquoise. Because of the lack of better term I was calling it "brass" but it's not it. This is something that is not supposed to imitate reality, but go beyond tha...

Why I paint like this?

My  goal with this miniature is to create a yellow/green/turquoise color  composition with bottom part of the miniature dominated by turquoise  color and top part dominated by yellow colors. I'm describing it as  "brass with patine" because of lack of a better term for what I'm  painting. My goal is not to imitate something that already exists, but  to paint something that you can't see every day. I want to paint  something that is different, fantastic and m...

Wurmspat part 2

Hi!

I've just uploaded a new tutorial about painting my chaos warrior.

As you can see now I covered his armor in turquoise patine and change his look a lot.

That was my idea from the beginning but I also wanted to enjoy his clean version for a few days so in the previous week I skipped patine part :D

I hope you like how he looks now :)

Wurmspat

Hi Guys!

I've just uploaded the first tutorial about painting a Wurmspat Chaos Warrior miniature.

On this miniature, I will heavily experiment with light, brass and copper NMM and a few other things that will take shape during the process of painting.

As you can see, thanks to my work on Tarentus, I learned a lot about creating direct, blinding reflections of light on the armor and that's what I'm using on this miniature.

I hope you like what I'm doing here.

Wurmspat part 1

Hi Guys!

Today I have for you the first tutorial about painting a Chaos Warrior from the Wurmspat box.

As you know for many years I'm working on creating the right recipies for copper and brass NMM. The biggest problem in painting brass is that it is yellow metal like gold, and the main difference is in the specrtum of midtones located between the shadows and reflections of light. Until now I never had big enough space on which I could make them clearly visible and most people wer...
