Dark apostle armor part 2

Hello,

today I have for you a new tutorial about painting Dark Apostle.

This time I focused on painting areas not illuminated by the fire and cold colors.

Hello,

on my new video tutorial I presented (and explained) from the beginning to the end how I painted Shony's face.

Once again I used just red, yellow and blue color to paint it.

No, I didn't use and airbrush, everything is paint with just a regular brush :)

How to paint Shonys face

Hi!

Today I have for you a video about which some of you have been asking.

Once again I painted everything without an airbrush and using only red, blue and yellow paint.

I highly recommend trying this way of painting skintones because it's very cool to make your own mixtures.

Remember that of course you can use any paints, Vallejo, Citadel whatever you like :)

Custodian Shoulder pads

I'm close to the end of my Adeptus Custodes marine project.

I just finished painting and repainting shoulder pads and now I guess I will have only base left to make.

I made photos during the process and will make a tutorial about that for my Directors Cut patrons.

Hello,

today I have for you a video tutorial about painting dark apostle.

This detail was tricky because of two different sources of light but I think it works nice together.

This time I wanted to make more realistic OSL from the flame, that's why it's a bit yellow brown.

I think it's very underappreciated color of NMM which is much more practical then gold and can be used in so many different situations. Very often we need to have a color that will look different then the rest of the miniature, but gold doesn't fit everywhere.

Custodian's helmet repainted

When I started repainting the helmet of my Custodian I thought that it's a very easy, short job, so I should make an extra tutorial about it.

As it turned out, I had to do so much more work on it then with regular tutorials, that's why I was one day delayed with it. Sorry about that :D

But now it's ready, it's uploaded and you can enjoy it :)

Reflection madness

Hello,

once again I have to say the new tutorial will be available tomorrow.

I have so much work during the week I somehow can't finish any tutoriala before Friday, so, I guess, for some time let's call Saturday a regular day to publish tutorials, ok? :D

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where and how to place the reflections and which directions should I blur and where to leave the edge of the reflection sharp.

It's not easy but thanks to your support I can t...

Wolf next wip

As you can see this time I'm creating a scene where I have a bright space marine, in a very saturated red armor attacked by a dark, pale Leman Russ' wolf. Of course the scene is what was originally in the box, but It's so dynamical and interactive it's hard to just call it just a miniature ;)
