How to mix primary colours for skintones

Hello,

Here I have for you a short tutorial on which I presented how to mix primary colors in order to create basic skin tones, I hope it will be useful for you.

I'm currently finishing my new tutorial for you, It's the last one I made about painting Hagbards skin, and it should be here in maximum 2 hours.

Hagbards abdominal muscles

Hi!

As of now you can find on my patreon a new video tutorial on which I presented and explained how I painted the abs of Hagbard (its the second video tutorial about painting his skin). For painting I used just 4 basic color that can be easily find in any paint range, so there will be no problem in recreating my mixes. There is also a bit of color theory in there so its pretty useful material ;)

How to paint Hagbards abs

Hello,

today I have for you a next video tutorial on which I presented how I painted abs of Hagbard.

In the upcoming week I plan to make more videos about painting his skin in order to finish this part of the miniature faster.

On this video once again I used Winsor&Newton series 7 size 1 brush, Yellow, Red, Blue and White paint. I believe you will not have any problems with finding the right color for the skin ;)

How to paint Hagbards chest

Hello, 

today I have for you the first video tutorial about painting Hagbards skin.

Now you can see exactly what I do with my brush in order to blend colors etc.

The really interesting thing about this tutorial is that I decided to rethink my way of working with skin, so colors are different then before. In this tutorial it also doesn't matter which brand of paints you use, all you need is: Blue, Yellow, Red and White paint.

Lord of Contagion WIP

I'm getting close to finish this project, it was much more work then I was expecting but in the end he's going to look much more impressive thanks to all the details.

I'm thinking about painting the censer in the back in darker red colors, like the heat is slowly dying inside of it. What do you think? :)

This time I decided to try to create something less standard and more fantastic/magical.

During creating this base I was inspired by a Magic The Gathering card called "Golgari locket" and I tried to transfer the atmosphere of mushrooms and green light into the base.

on today's tutorial I will present to you how to sculpt an interesting base for Lord of Contagion.

The important note here is that if you want to "bake" your sculpture so that it dries faster put it into an oven for 40 Celsius degrees, no more ;)

Ps. Mix Doombull Brown 50:50 with red paint, now this color is too brown and this doesn't work great as copper. Later make everything the same as I presented ;)
