This one was a big learning experience. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but there are some parts that I wish I was able to improve on (the trees look a little silly. The island in the background may not be quite convincing, etc). Plus I learned a lot about the compositor due to having problems with it. Problems I wasn't able to resolve, but good to know about.

Attached are some progress images from the render. They should outline the steps I took and in which order to achieve the final render.
The main thing I want to talk about is the compositing. There is a picture of the nodes I used when compositing and it shows a lot going on. Originally I wanted to render out the foreground (characters, net, beach), the background (distant water, island, horizon line), and the sky, and the futa dicks which I could layer on top for the alt.

Just an FYI: I'm not currently open to animation commissions. This was done as a special offer and I likely won't be doing more animation commissions until I get better at animating and get a proper understanding of a good workflow (probably quite a while T-T).

The Cutie Mark Crusaders are raising money to go to camp. Right now they're visiting Rairity's boutique.
Technical Notes
This animation was difficult. Not because of it's crazy animation or anything. I tried to make use of blender's NLA editor which reuses simple animations and can blend them together. Turns out that actually makes for not as good looking animation (might be good for background characters). So lesson learned.

Needed a break for animating (quite frustrating...) so I made a fake nintendo power magazine cover. Maybe I'll do more, make it a small thing. Depends if I can get more nintendo characters or not because it might be a little boring if it's only splatoon.

There is also a vanilla/clean version attached which doesn't have the magazine jazz. I wouldn't really call it a bonus version, since it's the same but without the jazz.

The bonus animation is the same loop but futa applejack, as well as a higher quality poster that was rendered with the photo realistic cycles engine (couldn't do the whole animation like that or it'd take a week to render).

I just finished modeling (more or less) the map for my upcoming animation project. Pretty basic stuff as far as texturing goes. Very minimalist. But it's not supposed to be complex, just a basic setting for the story. I imagine it like an office building, where everyone sort of clocks in, comes to work, does lewd stuff, and goes home at the end of the day. A casual environment.

I'm rearing up for a new animation. I've been working on a map for the animation to take place in, which is pretty close to finish (pics coming soon), but I've been trying to also figure out a good way to do liquids for... you know >.>. Which lead me to make a small video for testing 3 different methods for liquid simulation.
