I was originally going to make this an animation, but I was having a lot of trouble with blender. It would lag/lock up every 2 minutes (or less) for about 30 seconds. The file size was 3GB (which apparently is very large. I blame the Tifa model.) No way I could work like that. I pushed through and ended up just making an image render.
Kinda nice because the lack of animating makes it a quicker process from start to finish (or it would have without the blender problems).

The next big project is underway. Claire's BDSM Dungeon (work in progress title) features Claire and Ada from RE2. Claire has Ada bound and gagged in her dungeon. She dominates her dominatrix style using her array of toys.
This will be my first "long" animation in blender, so I can't really give an accurate time on how long it will take, as I'm still learning. If I were doing this in sfm, I'd say about a month. But due to my inexperience with blender, I'm going to say 2 months top...

The public release of Frosty the Snowpony is now! That means the 1080p release for non-early access patrons as well. I hope you enjoy it. I had a fun time making it and might do more MLP stuff in the future. Though I'm trying to focus on blender right now and I'm still learning.

This is just a small loop I made while learning blender. Learned a lot about importing (Linking/Appending) other blender files, playing with lighting, and render settings. Also learned a bit of keyframing and stuff. Super happy that blender can extrapolate infinitely (looking at you SFM >.>)

So I'm working on a small loop of D.Va here riding a Bad Dragon Axel dildo in the bathroom. I was rendering overnight at 1000 samples (you know, mo samples mo quality) and when I work up it was only 35 frames through it. So I stopped it and wondered if I could make it go faster. First thing I did was lower the samples and re-render the last rendered frame. And I couldn't see a difference at all. So I wondered how low I could get it.

Frosty the Snowpony is now out for early access! That means you — yes, you — can view the 1080p final release RIGHT NOW! In a mere 7 days the public will get access to the 720p version, as well as lower tier patrons access to the 1080p version.

Hello again, this update is to let you know that the animation (or at least the core animation, some light touch-ups and fixes will still probably take place) is done. I've exported it and assembled a rough preview of the video, linked to this post.

I've done the basic 10 second loops. I think each one has some personality to them. Unfortunately when I was done them I actually forgot to add rainbow dash (see the last WIP post, she's not in the picture). So I had to think of a new loop for her.
The lighting is a hard blue which would be coming from the TV. I'm imagining this is after they've all snacked and watched a movie or something.

Yes, pony. You know the game Frosty the Snowman? Maybe you know Soggy Biscuit? The premise is basically a bunch of guys circle jerk into a hat (or onto a cookie) and the last person to finish loses and has to wear the hat (or eat the cookie). Mhmmmmm. I've decided to start doing 1 Hour Animations, which will be a sort of challenge/warm up for me. The idea is that I'll make an animation in an hour (give or take a few extra minutes). This so far only encompasses the actual animating process. Exporting, selecting the models, etc will be outside of this hour constraint.
These animations may not be "quality" animations, seeing as I'm rushing to get them done in an hour or so. But I hope you enjoy them anyway!
