As the YCH's bid is only a couple days from over, i decided to start to work on a few things on it instead of starting another project while i wait for the result.

Background is pretty much done, and i'll work on my birdself next.
I'll only have to draw the two winners once they have been chosen, so they won't have to wait too long.

Fallen King

There it is, already done.
Took me less time than i expected. 

The uniform is slightly inspired from the Atreides uniform from Dune (1984), the collar mostly. And added a few jewelry because i guess that kinda fit the character of Scar. 

Overall, that's a pretty decent portrait.

Greyscale is done, and it doesn't look too bad.
Granted it's just a portrait, and not a full body. But it's been a while since i did a painting, and i've never been very good at it to begin with.
So Scar might get a painting he deserve.

Next up, colours and details+fix.

As i wait for the result of the YCH in a week, i'm working on the fan art.
This time: Scar, from the Lion King. But of course Anthro, and in modern clothing.

He looks pretty good.
Also, i'm gonna paint that one, to train myself in doing portrait that way.
Might be rough. But if it catch peoples interest that could be cool to do painted portrait.

Brace's redesign is doing well.
His mane is still there, but his "hair" got longer. He also got even older.
Still a happy big muscular f*cker, though.

It's been like 2 years since i drew him, so he needed one.

Tried some slightly different way to shade again, and it's pretty good i think.

Flat's done, and is going well.
The commissioners haven't chosen a background yet, but i can still work on the shading until then.

So, clearly the 69 position is still not a thing i'm used to.
It took me so long to get it right, and even then i had to take some decisions to make it all fit.

But, what count is that it looks good in the end and that the commissioners like it, so there you go.

Since they wanted a simpler style, it shouldn't be too long as the shading is easier to do.
