Jedi Insurgency 056

It was the third day since Corvus had arrived at the Kamino System, and currently he was aboard the flagship Venator, the Herald.

Within the war room of this ship, Corvus had brought along his Padawans, the members of the Bad Batch, Commander Pots, and even Triss, the Dark Acolyte. The plan had been made, but he had kept them around for both advice, as well as a learning experience for all involved.

Surrounding a table that had a holographic map ...

Mobilizing the troops, Corvus had each of them lie in wait. Within the cloning facility, and out of sight from the spaceships that were landing, the men under the influence of Order 86 were chomping at the bit, and eager to take the fight to the enemy.

Truthfully, Corvus was too. As a boy and young man, he had played tons of games fighting alongside the Republic troopers, and had fantasized scenes where he fought with a lightsaber against droids. Many a cardboard paper towe...

Vader Unleashed 001

Seated upon a throne, a dark figure clad in black armor rhythmically breathed, the Force raged in a maelstrom of power as his emotions swelled to encompass the entire planet.

Across the fiery hellscape of Mustafar, lava surged and erupted everywhere, gasses hissed, and molten rock rained down upon the hapless inhabitants that called this Nexus of darkside energy home.

Breeching Lama Su's lab/office, Corvus beelined towards a prominent computer, and began working his magic.

Hacking into the system, a flood of panicked messages arrived from all the other major cities. The administrators were currently losing their shit over this ‘clone rebellion’ that had come out of nowhere. Corvus typed back a reassuring message, letting them know that it was an isolated incident, and that help was on the way. Of course they didn't need to kno...

After inventorying the loot, Corvus turned to Yon, and saw that he had exited the holocron.

The short, black haired teen's face had a gruesome expression, and it looked like he wanted to throw the holocron away. Eventually, he sighed, and lowered the bright blue object.

“All is well?” Corvus asked.

“Just more unwanted wisdom.” Yon replied, voice dripping venom.

“Perhaps I should take a look?...

Whilst Yon was transfixed with his holocron, Corvus had sorted through all the loot that Master Qalsneek had managed to save from the doomed planet of Ossus.

About a dozen chests had been laid bare before Corvus's eyes. Within, there were dozens of data slates detailing many different topics. The art of diplomacy, farming, lightsaber combat, treatise/legal documents, and the routing number to Ossus Temple's bank account were among these data slates.

After leaving the scene of the fight, Corvus didn't have to look far before he found the Jedi Temple ruins within Derem City.

Following his map, there were some buildings that stood out, and this was one of them. Besides that, the Force had been guiding him here all along.

Hopping from building to building, Corvus and Yon came across the waterlogged, dilapidated half-way submerged building, and stood on its roof.

“What are we here for...

Dancing between rusted husks of buildings, Corvus was running in a circle around Kina as if she were some big boss in a videogame. All the while, he was planting cloaked, poison mines, and tossing cryo grenades at anything that drew near.

Having realized that standing still would lead to his encirclement, and doom, he had turned this fight into a mobile battle of attrition.

At the moment, he was testing his stock of limited items against Kina's sta...

Corvus buffed himself up, then Paused as he assessed the situation.

Kina Ha was an ancient Jedi who had lived thousands of years. From what he could tell, she had met Revan at some point, and her overreaction right now must be due to some hidden fears or latent PTSD.

And who could blame her? At one time, Revan was the baddest Sith in the galaxy, and had been the catalyst for the Jedi Civil War. That was an event that was just as bad as Order 66, and saw t...

Do Any of these Story Prompts Interest You?

AN: all names of main characters are subject to change via poll. I hold polls like this, because I want to find a diamond innthe rough story that you guys all like. Sorry if they are bothersome, or if I don't deliver on all these ideas, but by shotgunning spaghetti against the wall, I hope to see if anything sticks.

(Dustbender isn't abandoned, just relegated to probably once a week release as I try to find another story as popular as Jedi Insurgency)

Leaving Tipoca City had been rather simple, and Corvus was currently in the cockpit of the Falcon, flying towards Kamino's former capitol.

Stewing in the seat next to him, Yon was staring unblinkingly at his red tinged green lightsaber.

Piloting his spaceship through torrential rains, and dark clouds, Corvus had supplied himself some hot coffee, and was munching on some snacks. Distant thunder churned, and the primal nature of this water world thrummed all around them....

AN: Reminder, Order 66 happened like 2 weeks ago, and the Padawans are still a little raw. I'll be attempting a little character development this chapter. After all, what's the point of restoring the Republic or Jedi Order if you have no one to fight for?

Arriving at the barracks set aside for CF-99, he briefly overheard a conversation.

“What do you think the surgery was about, Tech?” A voice asked.

“Well, Hunter, my theory is that-” Tech began only to be interrupted.

Walking down the halls of the cloning facility, Corvus was somewhat awed by how vast this complex was. The area they were moving through was made of a clear type of material resembling plastic or glass, and he had a direct view of many different things.

In one sector, he saw tens of thousands of incubators carrying baby clones. Another had children learning on computers, and more still had gyms full of young men exercising hard at work.

Following behind Old Man, Corvus left the Beifong estate, and after a short trek, came across a walled off 8 story tall tower.

This was the administrative hub, and central castle of Gaoling's military. It served as a place of last defense, and was surrounded by barracks, smiths working on weapons, and all other camp activities that were necessary for running an army.

Passing through a set of gates, during their walk towards the tower, Terrah ran his finger along the wa...

Emerging into the Kamino System, the Falcon glided past a thick wall of slumbering mines, multiple orbital stations, and a fleet of Imperial cruisers.

This was thanks to the ship's IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) signal that Corvus was continuously broadcasting.

Any ship or system with a scanner detected this transmission, and instead of investigating, would instantly wipe their...

How large should the CIS/Clone Trooper forces be?

This poll is to help determine the scale of the conflict. In the movies, we see the Jedi getting gunned down by a handful of clones. But what if that squad turned into thousands or tens of thousands? Much more believable.

Here's some quick math/logistics to put things into perspective.

The two large ships the republic had during the war for troop transport are the venator shown in episode 3 and in engagements throughout the clone wars show. These large ships had a troop compleme...

Before departing Ilum, Corvus had made sure the Sith spaceship was operational, and stole any CIS access codes that the craft contained.

After an awkward goodbye in which Keira was constantly staring at him, Corvus had set off with Yon, Jax, and his prisoner, Triss.

As for their destination?

It was the birth place of the Jango clones.

Within this mindscape, Corvus beheld an almost entirely black area. The only light came from the azure blue of his kyber crystal floating in the air.

Looking at it, Corvus felt extremely basic emotions, like that of a baby, or animal.

Warmth. Belonging. Happiness.

All these and more came from the crystal as it invited Corvus to come closer, to open himself up in turn.

To Corvus, this was a mystical sensation that was ...

After confirming the Sith’s demise, Corvus rushed to Keira's side.

A singular cauterized tiny hole pierced her chest, otherwise, the well toned green alien looked rather peaceful, as if she had accepted the outcome.

Seconds later, Jax came running up to his side. He was sweaty, and looked tired, but victory sang in the Force, and cloaked him in an aura of triumph.

“You have emerged victorious. Congratulations, Jax, you are one step ...

After dropping Toph off, Terrah had found his way to the mini-mansion that Old Man had been staying at, and he had stared at the ceiling recounting the loss of Star, Old Man's actions, and Toph's kindness.

Ultimately, his depressed spirit had been soothed by Toph's considerate touch.

Honestly, she was a bit of a brat, kind of a slob, and generally speaking, an asshole. A tomboy who could kick his ass through and through. Yet for all that tough exterior, s...

To Corvus, the only noise he registered at that singular moment was the hum of lightsabers.

Jax & Ror were clashing in the background, ever so slowly moving towards the chanting Jedi. Corvus didn't worry about the teen, knowing that Ror was heavily damaged, and being baited into some mines. Moreover, he couldn't be bothered to give his attention to Jax when someone as imposing as Darth Kern was his opponent.

Looking down a winding path from the top of a gentle sloped cliff, he beheld four figures clad in black.

The facility itself looked almost identical to the one on Coruscant. It possessed tall ceilings, fabulous mosaics, and gave off a monastic air.

Exiting lightspeed, the Falcon rocketed forth towards the icy world of Ilum.

Viewing the planet from his 3rd Person POV, Corvus was stunned and in awe by the beauty on display.

Ilum was an icy world, and was a giant white-blue marble within the vast blackness of space. From a distance, it sort of reminded him of Earth. A small smile spread across his face, and excitement brimmed in his veins.
