whenever I lose motivation to continue to work on the God Games animatic I jump into another scene of the video to work on that for a bit. Right now I was working on this sketch animation of the Ares segment.

a little fun fact: her movements are roughly the same as Odysseus' in the mutiny animatic ;) (she's way more elegant though)

finally hit the 1 minute mark this is by far the hardest animatic yet

planning on making this piece a print! It's a HUGE drawing of my character designs for the 9 muses in Greek mythology

I cropped out these 3, who are (from left to right) Clio, that in the Classical era is depicted being the muse of history (and also mother of Hyacinthus), Calliope, muse of epic poetry, Chief of all muses and Orpheus' mother, and Erato, muse of romantic/erotic poetry.

Still 6 more characters to add so this will take a while, but I'm loving to work on this piece! :D...

I made this layered background which is a bit of extra work, but it adds this tiny bit of atmosphere and I love it

I love drawing weird creatures
Still debating on whether I'll do God Games or Legendary after finishing We'll Be Fine, but God Games is the most likely one solely because of the ending.
I love the moment that Athena has a little flashback and is ready to fight back, so I'd definitely emphasize this by making her change into a full owl woman creature you know
