We always see Kara in her room, but occasionally she need to go outside. What does she wear? Here's one such outfit.

She doesn't like wearing pants or shoes. She can tolerate pants but for shoes she'll always opt for sandals or slippers when possible.

The headphones are a great deterrent to prevent people from talking to her.

This was a super fun drawing, I never really do angles like this so I'm happy to see it came out well.

I wanted to practice this under the skirt pose for use in new Kara lewds. Butts are interesting to draw from underneath. When bent over, they lose some of the more dramatic aspects of their silhouette, like the crease underneath, so you have to really get the shape right in order for them to still look juicy. Fun stuff!

NGDN Main Menu Animated

Hey folks! This week we've been working on getting the main menu animated. It's taking quite a lot of clever engineering, we've essentially had to build it from scratch coding wise. We're just about done with it though!! I've attached some footage below.

I'm really excited, the game is getting a lot closer to complete, and I think little touches like the custom main menu will make it feel a lot more substantial than just another renpy game.

Summer uniforms for Picnic Club

Been on a guns and gear kick. Here's an idea I had for the summer uniforms in Picnic Club.

The first is just the standard spring uniform but with shorts and a short sleeve tunic.

The second has a white shirt and a more sailor fuku style sailor collar. I like to strike a balance between Afghan war soviet uniforms and sailor fukus!

Galina - Veteran Mech Pilot

As you know, I love coming up with fake IP for NGDN. This is Galina! One of three main characters from 'Mech Warrior Venusia'.

She's the mentor of the main character, Venusia, and one of the few mech pilots who's seen actual combat. At one time, she was the savior of the solar system, protecting the people of Earth and Venus from alien invasion. The world is much different now however. With the threat of alien invaders largely quelled, nations are beginning to revert to their pre-crisis...

I was going to sleep one night and this dumb idea popped in my head. I loved it and I had to draw it.

Originally it was going to be two alien girls with shirts that say, 'We Come In Peace', but I thought the couple was a sweeter idea/easier to draw.

Here's a little look at what the code for the game looks like. I'm INCREDIBLY impressed with how intuitive ren'py is. I have basically zero programming experience and I'm finding it pretty easy to set scenes up.

That cityscape background is final, but that Koji model isn't. His line art is, but the lighting on this current model is for an interior scene. I'm using placeholder models right now though as I go through and finalize the script.

Mech Pilot Suit Designs

I came up with a royalty-free mecha anime for NGDN called 'Mech Warrior Venusia'. I need to design some pilot suits and I have a few different directions I'm thinking of taking it.

I personally really really love the tactical one. It's meant to more closely emulate a USAF flight suit. I imagine in this version, the mechs and equipment would look a little more retro, sort of like MGSV

A status update.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in. I've been less active than usual this last week and I wanted to apologize. I have to move out of my current apartment next month so I've been busy organizing all the logistics for that.  

As far as how the game is going, it's a lot of very boring stuff right now so I apologize for the lack of game specific updates. Here's a small list of what I'm working on though.
