Feeling way better about these colors! I think you folks will like them more too. The final comic will have this sort of halftone effect on it, so I figured I'd test the colors out with the filter on!
What do you folks think? Make you a little more excited for the comic?

At the coloring phase, but I honestly have NO clue what I'm going to do color wise, so I'm just sort of winging it. Trying to pick colors that make Yuna POP. Drawing inspiration from Chris Ware, who's early works had a similar inking style.
I'm actually going to be paying an assistant to help me color some of the pages, it'll be a my first time hiring one, but I'm so busy with school, the hitsuji goods store, and a big commission that I definitely need the help.

I need to figure out some sort of standard numbering system for the future, for now I'm just naming the files and posts whatever, I think it'll be easier when I get rolling though!
The third panel was a real treat! I like forcing myself to draw angles. I'm not the best at it but I think I strike a good balance.

Digging how this came out, especially the 2nd panel, I don't normally draw a lot of perspective, interiors. The shadows aren't particularly logical or literal, but I wanted to do them sort of intuitively, focus more on the panel as a piece of design than as a literal depiction of light.

Been working late into the night on these! I ended up going with this bold inking style for the background. I think it does a good job of making Yuna and Mimi pop on the page!
To be honest I don't really know what I'm doing, so I'm just experimenting and seeing what works.

It's been a busy and exhausting week! I wanted to put my focus on the merch shop so I could save up money to get me through the next few months; it worked well! Hey everyone! Sorry I've been a bit of a ghost; got a lot of plates spinning this next few weeks.
To tide you over, here's a sheet of some of my daily anatomy studies. Lately I've been focusing on the torso, front and back. A lot of complex moving parts and the proportions are tricky, but I know by focusing on specific areas I'll improve them.
I'm also trying out some foreshortening as you can see, good stuff!

Got a lot of pencilling to do! the bulk of the time on this one was the station, still not amazing at perspective but I did my best and made something at least passable. It's not directly referenced from any particular train station, though it reminds me a lot of the Muni stations in San Francisco.
