It's been a while! i fell into a little of a slump drawing wise and my work got really sloppy, so I've been some spending time working on my fundamentals again. I kept fucking up the eyes on my drawings; pupils not pointing in the correct direction, unbalanced size. I was rushing too much, going too lose, so I've just been going back through my favorite anatomy books and doing slower more methodical anatomy studies.

The full batch of Actionable Threat shirts arrived, so now begins the arduous task of folding and bagging them all; 750 shirts total. It's an all day all night task, but on Monday I did get the chance to go out and see Look Back while it was in theaters.

There's a feeling that Fujimoto touches on a lot; the worry that your art can't stand on its own. I really identify with that. I get by obviously, mostly through good writing and business acumen, but I've never felt like a 'good artist...

Hello everyone! It's been a busy couple weeks. The Actionable Threat shirts were a way bigger hit than I ever could have imagined. Thank you all again for the support. Physically, I'm pretty beat; I've been spending the last few weeks shipping out orders from the first batch, as well as preparing all the packaging for the 650 orders I'm going to have to ship out once the preorder shirts arrive.

Normally I draw on a Cintiq in photoshop, but this one was done on my iPad. Im not the biggest fan of the ipad or procreate, the art comes out a little janky, but I kinda dig the jank in retrospect.

Extremely proud of these. One little trick I learned is to render each part of the illustration seperately. Still a lot of improvement to be done, but I'm always trying to get better!

It's sad, Kara looks so cute in the rectangle frame glasses, but there's no way she'd ever wear them because they're the same ones her mom wears (she is terrified of becoming her mother). New stamp

You guys might have noticed this logo more and more. It’s eventually going to be a mainstay in all hitsuji endeavors!! I got a rubber stamp of it made to put on packages and stuff.
