Releasing the first chapter today

Alright! So I've been spending the past couple weeks working on a Kara manga. Im finishing up the first chapter as we speak and I'll be putting it up here on patreon later today.

I'm gonna be up all night working on it until it's done. I won't spoil the plot, but I will say that it's gonna be a huge expansion to the existing lore.

I watched Fallen Angels this last weekend so I wanted to do some studies from it.

Drawing in ultrawide is really tricky. I'm realizing I need to find a way to sell the wide angle without just making it look like the proportions are wrong.

I think one solution might be to try and warp the perspective further in drawings. Like, have so much distortion that otherwise straight objects like cigarettes will be curved.

Normally my jokes have a pretty logical thru-line but this one just popped in my head and I kept laughing at it so that was enough to convince me it was worth while.
