"Afternoon sleep"

Terrence Exfort fell asleep on a rare sunny day and missed a meeting he had to attend with his Estate manager. So Eric MacTíre, said estate manager, had to find the young master himself. And he's both angry and a bit charmed by the view he found, to his own embarrassment. So he hesitates  for a moment, pondering whether he should wake this young man, or not at all...and maybe watch him sleep a little bit before walking away.

Sometimes one has to draw their favorite characters from a  moevie they loved as a teen. 

The fun thing is that I just made a fan art from a screen shot...and i didn't have to CHANGE a thing to make those two young men look VERY homoerotic.

These are the characters from a historical advanture movie set in 18'th century Russia. I know none of my english speaking  followers have a single idea who they are...

but I just had to share them with  you!

A thief and his assassin friend

This is probably the most complicated digital watercolor I've done so far. I guess my skill is definitely growing.

The book "Among thieves: tales of the kin" and "Sworn in steel"  about Drothe - a cunning thief (right) and Degan - elite swordman and  a member of an ancient society of professional assassins with a rather misterious past, made me do this rather complex work. Just because I wanted to make a proper fanart of the book no ones knows, and a ship no ones ships but me....

Finally home

Actually this whole project helps me study both anatomy, color and light, clothing construction and design, storytelling and quite drawing pipeline. I never knew it could be such  a coold thing to do to learn all those things quick  and with great result!

I sketched this artwork back in AUTUMN! And I was so artblocked and stressed that I couldn't finish it. But now I took it out of the pile of unfinished works, so a ton of anatomy mistakes, since by some magic, uknown to me, I managed to grwo in skill, during the covif year. And I completely remdrawn it, but now, I finally like it!

I am trying to get out of the worst artblock and lack of energy I've been since I don't know when. I believe  all the pressure of covid times and being the last ones in line for a chance of vaccination (since we're immigrants) had it's toll on me.  So I am slowly but surely finishing all the stuff I didn't finish  to clear my mind and creative energy and give space for something new.
